As far as I can tell, the mod is fixed but there is 1 noticable bug and I will include a screenshot on how to quickly manually fix it; https://i.imgur.com/9Qyjgqu.png credits to bakstteen.

Was originally around for the DvZ - but URealms sparked my interest for TTRPGs. Something I'll always be thankful for.

no idea how this request would work, but is there any chance you would be willing to make it so there is a way to get access to the card creator in a program form or something since the site is now gone? would even just love the code and images used in that to try and run it myself if possible

Hi, I know its 2023 but I was wondering if anyone has the files for the cards now that the Urealms site is down. I was thinking of starting a campaign with friends using this TTRPG system but now that the links are down cards wont load. Thanks!

Hey Rawb, love your work. I know you're busy, but I was hoping to remind you/request for you to fix the asset links for https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=943428172 . It's a lot more work to run a game without a decent, consistent asset pool.

If you have any problems with cards being wrong, please disable mod caching! Everything should now be loading correctly and the gem issued should still be fixed.

Im also unable to pull the files from the new website, ive completely deleted all associated tabletop files and tabletop itself, and it still fails. Any help is appreciated

For me it is still trying to get files from {LINK REMOVED}. I have tried restarting tabletop simulator, turning mod caching off, and unsubscribing and resubscribing to the mod.

I have updated the mod so that the files are now being fulled from URealms.com and not BuffaloWizards.com our old website. Please let me know if your having any problems getting the files downloaded as it's a bit hard to check but I'm pretty sure I got everything working.

Hello! I'm trying to host a URealms campaign but the cards are showing something different for my party. But it is the same for the party and only different for me. Also, I want to add that when they hover over the card it says what I see. Anyone know a fix or what the problem is? Thank you!!!

I was about to comment the same. The hover over description on the cards, does not match the cards themselves. Is there any fix to this?

For some reason the class cards do not have the corresponding class abilities. for example the sea chef class deals out hyrdomancer for some reason? is there a fix or do i need to reinstall the mod?

Hey, some of my cards are showing the old art an example is dwarf does not have the companion text it needs and also the classes when you hover over them it says a different class name than the art

The S4 Update that we will be using for the Dead Realms show has been pushed to the mod. It is missing a lot of the fun features the S3 mod had that we plan on re-adding a well as a lot of classes/cards have been benched until we have time to properly update them for the S4 format.

When I get some more time I'll work on documentation here, but have fun exploring S4 for any die hard urealms fan. Theres a lot of balance issues because of the missing S4 cards so some classes are going to be overly powerful because of deck balance.

The mod is going to be updating over the next month. This may break your URealms LPs for awhile! I wish there was an easier way to update, but this is the fastest way for me to get us towards S4 cards.

I was just wondering if someone could tell me what happened to all the different races/subraces that use to be in the game there seems to be a lot missing from this download... (( sorry new to table top sim)) Like i was really hoping to be able to play a goblin and such

3/ Right now I'm sure it's super awkward to play unless you are big into tabletop games and our roleplaying show, but I am going to work on a basic set of written rules with the next big update and include it as a booklet. I also plan in seperating the mod into two versions (Basic and Extended) that can have the Classes/Cards that easy to understand and play with and keep all the weird quirky as well as new stuff in Extended. If you are subscribed to this mod, you won't really notice a difference because this will be the Extended version, so keep an eye out after the next big update as the basic version will be a much more stable set.

We also have a lot of maps and character artwork we have had made for the show that we will be adding to the mod and TTS very soon!

2/ Also for those that don't know, the 3rd season of our URealms Live Show (the show we made for youtube that spawned this mod) is almost coming to an end. I'm going to be working on another big update to the mod this fall and with it should bring a more complete set of rules. I know it's awkward to play a game with no concreate rules, but we been sorta building them as we go and the homebrew rules we are settlingly into are becoming more of a solid foundation.

@ThorthGyro Your solution works, but it's still producing an error. Any ideas? I updated the mod, but would like to do another update to clean out those errors.

In order to fix the "<startLuaCoroutine/copyClassCardsToSlots>: Argument cannot be null. Parameter name: name"" Error:

Go to scripting, and edit your global script. Within the "copyClassCardsToSlots" function is a line that looks like: "cloneDeck = classCard.clone(dropPos)". This is causing the error. Replace it with the following two lines to allow it to function again:

clone_parameters={position = {dropPos}}
cloneDeck = classCard.clone(clone_parameters)

After the above are replaced and the script is saved, you should save the game so that you can load the character creator with your newly changed script.

I'm having the same problem. Also are there rules for this game somewhere? It says only the GM needs to be familiar with them, but I can't actually find them anywhere.

I recently started doing some Urealms and watching the streams and it is quite fun! The thing is during character creation I put my Class into the Abilities thing and it says "Error in Script (Global) function <startLuaCoroutine/copyClassCardsToSlots>: Argument cannot be null. Parameter name: name" Is there any way to fix this?

You need to put it in the blue card slot with the smaller slots around it.

so ive been trying to create some characters but i cannot find the cards for the specific abilities for the classes Ex. i have the card for the warrior class but not the class abilities. any fixes?

As someone who had no idea that URealms was a thing before seeing this mod, you know that image that tells you the intended order of actions for character creation? That isn't properly linked from this page? It would be good if that were IN the mod.

Obviously there's a lot of thought behidn the process, and I'm very impressed by the level of effort put into it all, like with the scripting. I wanted to make some characters just to see what I could do, but right now it seems to be one of those "Do whatever, I guess, I dunno" kinds of card-based RPGs.

also to follow up, there is a set of books inside the mod that tell you all about the cards, status effects, and the base rules of the game. understanding how to host your own first game is going to be pretty hard though without expermintation or playing a few games inside our community on urealms.com

@charisk atm we haven't had the time to create the resources to really understand the game without delving into the community pretty deep. You gotta understand this is a completely free mod we make and that while I want to create all the helpful resources to make it easier to get involved in, it takes a lot of time. I don't really expect the greater TTS community to be able to get involved as the we just don't have a lot of guides for the game.

There's a lot of freedom in how you play URealms, and anything that happens the gamemaster has the final say in. That's why there are no rules for the game, you make the rules. And that's why they say as long as you have a gamemaster who understands the basics, you don't have to worry about it.

@Miko I like to describe URealms as a more simple version of D&D.

@Charisk There aren't really any official rules for URealms laying around. The best way to understand the game at this stage is to have watched one of the campaigns to see how they do things. If you load up the mod itself on TTS, there's 3 tiles at the bottom that briefly describe the games mechanics and what the icons on tiles and cards mean, you can press the number ordered on those 3 tiles to go to the next page.

Rob is planning on releasing a few videos on his youtube channel that will show you how the mod works, but it's unknown right now when those videos will be uploaded. I recommend checking out one of the campaigns, they're a lot of fun with a lot of comedy and a little bit of seriousness. Season 1, The New Crew is a very fun campaign, you could start there. It's a bit older, the show is on Season 3 now, but many of the mechanics are still the same and you can get a good feel of what the game is like.

I'm not sure if it's just me, but for some reason I recently downloaded this mod and I can't get any of the models, giving an error related to not being able to connect to the server. This seems somewhat recent but I'm not sure if it's me, the game or the mod itself.
