Not working for Ningen for some reason. A different mod called mech fixer did work though.

The new update is live. It includes fixes for at least 8 new mods which, quite frankly, is appalling. What kind of monster uploads a broken mod to the workshop? It's not even that hard to fix!

I'm confused by which Kemono mod. I've seen 2 of them that add the race (the 1.5 one not having been updated for a year I believe.) So i have the 'fix' one installed. Will that work too?

It should be compatable with FR. Every patch in this mod is designed to be as minimal as possible, and will only change what is absolutely needed. It doesn't even modify the species' directly.

@joefabfor If it isn't already included, probably not. For the sake of my sanity, I can't support anything that isn't on the workshop.
However, you're more than welcome to use this mod's source code to build your own fix.

@Xel It's extremely unlikely that this mod will cause problems. All patches verify that the object is outdated before applying, and the cinematic is a drop-in replacement.

Is there any way to get this mod outside of steam? I really want to play starbound but my steam client is being a pain because it doesn't want to download literally anything

Issues with certain mods not being supported should be resolved now. Apparently SteamCMD decided to be a pile of hot garbage (shocking) and was reporting successful updates despite the update process completely failing.

@GeO2 If you want you can remove the Canids race from your list, they have been adjusted to 1.3 for a long time now. Many thanks for your support in keeping them up to date before then.

I meant that i could not use mechs for modded species without this mod. It just shows a error-message that i dont have the cinematics for vulpes (the race i played as). it works now with the mod. i uninstaled and tested without the mod and the same message apeared again. so... thanks alot for making this mod.

@immortalsergal This mod has nothing to do with your modded species not showing up. Try fully reading the description of the modded species you want to use. If you miss the section related to your issue, seek support from the mod's author.

Thanks for the infos on the steamcmd thingy; is your workshop scrapper available somewhere? I have some plans that'd use something like that but if I can just steal code that's even better

@Hieru Oh, and the script is still generating a captiain's chair patch because an outdated chair still exists at '/objects/ship/slimepersoncaptainschair/slimepersoncaptainschair.object'
