Are you a sinner? Yes, undoubtedly. I am trusting in Christ, not myself, for salvation.

According to popular opinion: "Heaven is for good people."
Are you a good person?

Here are 4/10 of God's commandments to measure how 'good' you are.
-Thou shalt not lie (If you've told even one, someone could call you a 'liar'.)
-Thou shalt not steal (It doesn't matter if it was small or just one thing, we're called 'thieves'.)
-Thou shalt not lust (God looks at the heart, if those thoughts are directed to someone who isn't your wife, you are an 'adulterer' at heart.)
-Thou shalt not murder (If you've just absolutely hated someone, the bible says you've committed murder in your heart.)

This isn't the truth you want to hear, but it is the truth you need to hear:
Heaven is no longer heaven if it is filled with liars and thieves.
Moreover if God is good and righteous himself, he should be judging liars, thieves, murderers and the rest.
Here's the bad news: It isn't just the big names like 'Hitler' getting what they deserve, God rewards every man according to their works- and that means you and me.

Ultimately, it doesn't matter how 'good' you think you are.
If you are in court and guilty of a crime, no good judge is going to let you go free for 'good works'. If you've murdered someone, it doesn't matter if you've cured cancer, you will pay the price for the life you taken- and the same applies to 'sin', which simply means 'transgression of the law'.

Here's the good news: God is both justice, and love - and because God loves you, he did the unthinkable:
-God came down from heaven
-Emptied himself in humility to become a man (Jesus Christ)
-Lived the perfect life we failed to despite being despised and destitute.
-Finally he suffered and paid the price for your crimes on the cross.
"No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself..." John 10:18 (Jesus)
Then with his final breath he said:
"It is finished." -Jesus' last words. (John 19:30)

Just like a speeding ticket, God paid the fine so you can legally go free from that courtroom, because Jesus paid your fine. That is why he said "It is finished", he has paid in full.

He paid the fine that perfect justice demands so that the judge can set you free because justice has been served. The penalty you owed was paid by Jesus on the cross. All you need to do is accept the gift that he has given, and 'repent', which means to turn away from your sins.
Trust in what Jesus has done to save you, not yourself, trust Jesus' sacrifice like you would a parachute.

𝐀 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐓𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬:

Romans 3:10
As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:

Matthew 9:13
But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

Proverbs 28:13
He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.

Ephesians 2:8
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Corinthians 5:17
Therefore if any man [be] in Christ, [he is] a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

As a follower of Christ, your life does not become easier, it becomes harder because the world rejects this message, loving sin and death. They crucified Jesus and tortured every apostle to death. Their suffering excruciating, yet they did not remit what they had seen and heard, that their blood would testify of the bible's truthfulness.
John 15:20
“Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.”

I hope this has helped you in some way, regardless of who you are or what you have done-
I wish the best for you.
Peace.
