Something tells me the bottom leg thing on those ships are to keep it hovering with little effert.

The name gorilla walker is a bit misleading. The speeder is not a walker first, and second: the term 'Gorilla Walker' is the term going around the internet being used as a placeholder until we actually get a name to the new First Order Superwalker to debut in the last jedi.

I know, I was being a bit sarcastic. You said it yourself up above, this ship isn't a really combat oriented ship it's more of a ship of beauty. That said , I also understand it's near impossible to make something faithful and very survival friendly.

@H1nks Why not? Excuse me but for example the creation by Purrfect.Blinky (creator that I follow and I respect) his ships are not very survival friendly. Because it is really difficult to recreate a ship and make it perfect for survival too and at the same time Is reproduced faithfully. However, after the last balance the small ships are generally more fragile.
