Currently the ADS pose is just me dragging the idle pose to the centre of the screen.

oh m9 with d.o.i m1911 animations would be legitness ( in DOI if you go into ADS he starts holding pistol both handed)

I've tried using the 2-handed grip when aiming in DOI, but it resulted in minor issues that bother me enough to completely cull the project, such as the broken armature in the Blender viewport and the stationary left hand that doesn't move with the gun when firing.

Of course, I've tried using DOI's iron sight shooting sequences but those merely broke the armature in game as well.

Alright sounds great. If you could use the vanilla animation of the M45 or the M1911 that'll be perfect.

I like the ability to make that happen. We make iron sight animations simply by moving the holding animation around.
