That said my idea in April was to add the corresponding ascension perks via event. But that is not possible, there is no effect (paradox modding term) for it to my knowledge. When this changes I will give this another try.

I don't plan on updating this mod anymore. And I cannot remember the specific mod I played with when I made the screenshots :/

Are the Traditions shown on the top part of the mod, and if not, where are they from? Also, are you going to update the mod?

On a side node I myself use a lot of mods and see that my own are compatible to basically every other mod out there. That is why I don't do stuff that I know has conflict potential - like overwriting vanilla files.

A few patches ago Paradox changed the prerequisite from having researched a certain tech to something related to your race and/or civics or something else. My mod was minimally invasive in that regard, that it only allowed you to get the tech to be able to get the ascension perk. The critical point here is minimally invasive. It was compatible with basically every other mod.
In order to get this to work now the easy way one could overwrite the original perk and change the prerequisite. Problem with this method is that I will conflict with any other mod that does this (i.e. an ascension perk overhaul mod). That why I did not do it. But now...

By the time I was writing this I got an idea. I might have found a good way on how to give you the perks minimally invasive. So I will give that a try. Stay tuned.

Is thier a chance this mod will be updated to 2.0? This seems to be the only mod that removes the ethos barrier to ascension techs.

That's what it does. It currently gives you 0.01% research into the tech.

When I activated the edict I suddenly had the first psionic tech appear with 24 points toward it. Is that what the edict does, or did I just get 24 points toward psionics from some random thing?
