No, they wear bronze armour as they should and are not op like Celtic Tribal Warriors from Tylis in comparison to similar celtic elite units.

Hi, don´t you think Mercenary Samnite Warriors have this very same issue? They seem to have too much armour for their cost.

Thanks for the fast reply!
I understand your reasoning, I was just looking at the Visuals.

In reality thracian nobles would wear mostly spolas and Boian Followes a mix of leather, leather improved with iron, scale and mail. So the numbers CA are correct in the end. Tribal warriors have an armour value for heavy eastern cavalry, an armour, which is to heavy for footmen and too good for game balance, so that i changed only that.

Thanks for correcting some mistakes on CA´s side!
When looking at the armour rating of some other units, I noticed a few more mistakes. For example Thraccian Nobles only get the 35 armour rating from Spolas-armour, altough they are clearly wearing bronze armourwich would give them 60 armour . Another example are the Boii Sword-followers recieving the 40 armour rating from mail, even they should only get 30 from the Leather they are wearing.
I would be very grateful if you could add these fixes to your mod!

I collect Asterix - Comics in my youth too.

After testing them intensively they are equal to the other celtic mid units now, because they have a better melee defence and now greek royal peltasts and silvershields can beat them. ;)

Meant "don't know" not " do know" , sorry

To be honest i havent really tested them much against sword followers which are probably the best celtic midtiers so i do know, but if i was to reduce the armour by 20 i would increase the attack a bit or charge because with 30 attack they will end up a bit helpless i think. Btw really like your Asterix and Obelix profile picture. Used to collect them some years ago.

With the scale elite armour they are hopeless overpowered in comparison to chosen swords and sword followers, they win every battle and they cost the same. Even the eastern axemen and kartli axemen have only scale armour, but the most important point for me, that this armour is most used by noble cav. ;)

I really dont think it was a typo, since with 60 scale elite they balance the other celtic midtier units like galatian legeonaries, chosen swords and sword followers and even with the elite they are probably still worse. Im pretty sure CA just wanted to make a more defensive celtic unit instead of standard high attach and charge units other celts have. + it would make sence that the celts would have discovered eastern armour styles and improved them with their very good metal working. On the other hand i have to say that it is nice to have small mods like this for anyone looking to costumise their expirience with small tweaks like thione so thanks.
