This causes a CTD whenever you open the heroes tab as Dwarfs.

Forget the climate system, it's not compatible with this game. Capturing Norsca settlements keeps you from demolishing their buildings, so you can't build it up.

Good luck. I didn't have this problem before the Norsca update. It gummed up a lot of stuff, for some reason.

It was pretty cool playing a northern dwarf campaign. Hope you get it fixed, I loved this mod.:steamsad:

Yeah there's heavy bug issues and I've sort of given up on it at the moment because I've tried so many things to get this to work 100%. Hopefully W2's stuff will give me an idea of how to do it as they're doing the climate method instead of hard limits. I might be able to steal some of that to make this work for game 1. We'll see.

Is this updated? I cant seem to destroy main buildings in norscan settlements, making them impossible to build up. Is anyone else having this problem?

I'll look into it. I also discovered a hiccup in the occupation set up. Norscans have issue conquering major settlements so I'm going to have to work on that as well. The outpost deal might be a good solution since I can't seem to remove the option of Dwarf/Greenskin settling humans without also removing norsca occupation. I can at least make it so that Dwarfs/Greenskins can have full occupation of norsca and only outposts of empire/vampire and visa versa. That way I can "give up" on removing the "occupy" option which I still haven't figured out. That basically just involves adjusting building tech trees which is something I actually do know how to do. But it will take some time. I appreciate everyone's patience on this mod.

Hello again my good friend! I hope everything is good with you. I would like to ask you something, I really like the idea of this mod, and i was just wandering im is mechanically possible to make something that allows the empire to occupy those territories and make some sort of outpost... There is a mod that does this already The Outpost mod, but that allows all races to make outposts not only in norsca but also in the resto of the world... what I was wandering is, only for imperial forces to occupy only norca territories as a defence agains chaos... do you thing it would be possible to be done with the tools avaiable? Thanks once again for everything!

Very useful mod (as i wanted to take over the norse mountains as Karak Drak) but while play testing ive seen AI dwarfs take over empire states (and the Norse took some of Kislev), so part of the original Dresden's occupation mod is still enabled (At least for AI).

Also Is it possible for norse to take over Dwarf/ Greenskin lands? Id really like a simple Dwarf/Greenskin/Norse lands Occupation Mod where all lands are open to each other; Norse can take dwarf or badlands and Vice Versa but still locked out to Human lands (Including the AI).

@Suspense I'm really enjoying your mod, but I have found the same issue others have it seems. I was able to confederate with Karak Norn and Karak Ziflin. Unfortunately I discovered that somehow before I confederated with them, they had taken Empire and Brettonian land that was later crushed by beastmen with a totem left in it's place, but somehow I still own the settlemnts. As a result I can't re-occupy and remove the totem/build over it, so it's causing constant rebellions and there's nothing I can really do about it. Hopefully something you can fix easily enough. I'm guessing the bug is that for whatever reason, AI have global occupation enabled, but the player (Kraka Drak) is only able to occupy Norscan land. Also, highly doubt it's anything to do with your mod but I noticed that my faction is for some reason called Karaz Ankor... there are technically two different Karaz Ankor factions in my game lol. I should be called Kraka Drak, no idea how I fix that.

Just with you mod enabled, not the full Occupy Anywhere, Karak Kadrin have occupied a Vampire Counts village, Waldenhoff, and a Kislev village, Fort Jakova.
Liking the mod, just pointing out the potential bug :)

No, I get it. There is of course game balance. I'm not sure how much Greenskins settling in human locations, especially places like the Borderlands, and not the Dwarves being able to do the same affect the balance of power. I do believe in the lore ( I could be mistaken) that the Greenskins rather resent the greener and finer places of the world. They just see it as a soft place to raid and isn't suitable for them. So they may be willing to set up a temporary camp but not a perminate residency. But they already do have their raiding camp stance, so I suppose they don't really need much more. They could use a boost to their global recruitment, though. I feel like long distant raids still are not the most profitable thing for them. I really do wish Greenskins had more of a presence in the Empire than they currently do in some way. I mean up in the north with Troll Country for example should be a Greenskin province... That actually could be doable. Hmmm

If I was more talented than changing some behavior tables I would Ideally allow Dwarfs to conquer Mountains and Norsca allow Greenskins to live anywhere allow Vamps to set up Wood Elfesk colonies in the Mountains and Make Chaos able to set up Stongholds in Norsca whilst Wood Elf Colonizing human territories and allowing humans to Wood Elf colonize Norsca. My Reasoning is Greenies dont care where they live. Vampires can live anywhere but dont thrive with only the dead to rule over. Dwarfs have no use for the lowlands but Norsca is mountainous anyway. Chaos dont want to Empire build but having strongholds in Norsca and outposts on their way down is harder to combat than a horde army. Humans can live in Norsca as demonstrated by the Norscans and conquering it would drive Chaos even further north. Humans have no interests in living in the mountains but dont want greenskins there giving them a reason to help the Dwarfs. Sorry I know thats alot of rambling to read through

It might become an occupation overhaul. I was thinking about making the north conquerable by Vamps too and anywhere for Greenies, though I was thinking about limiting the Greenskins to have outposts similar to the Wood Elves' outposts.
