Guys couuld someone help 16 block foundation diffrence just doesnt work on my server but other fetures do i have s+ and i also cant chage nofoundation requidred to true in game int settings

Does this mod interfere with you being able to lower a foundation for a raft base?

been running a server with this mod for months,if you're someone who likes to not use modded structures like s+ foundations and whatnot for your bases but still want structure building QoL, this mod is one of the best. the ceilings not needing support every 2 foundations makes it insanely fun to build things like ceiling/cliff bases.

this mod just doesn't work anymore, we have a server and we added the entire [BuildersImprovements] section and the corresponding ini configurations to the server's GameUserSettings.ini, and no luck.

the only workaround I've found for trying to work with S+ is to build with vanilla first then replace vanilla pieces with S+ pieces wasteful but works till someone shows this mod to the S+ author and they for some reason make it for ASE this is the only way to make it work

Do railing not snap to catwalks in s+?

Need to add snap points on S+, too many of us never build vanilla b/c S+ is so much better

s+ creates new structures, this mod alters snap points on vanilla structures - they work side by side, but do not effect each other; so no extra snap points on s+ structures.

does this work with S+ mod?

@BlueAsTheOcean, Yes, your structures will be fine and stay where you put them if you ever need to remove the mod.

One of the reasons I always favored this mod is that it just adds snap points and disables collision - no new pieces that will vanish if the mod suddenly needs and update or fails to load. Like point 5 above in the description says, removing this mod will change nothing, all structures snapped together with it will remain stable even if the mod is removed.

The only time I've heard anyone say otherwise, it had something to do with extending the support limit (default is 2, the mods lets you extend that out to 16), removing the mod, then removing a support.

Maybe a dumb question, but if I install this mod, build stuff with it, and then at some future point uninstall the mod, will my structures remain in place? I just don't want to break my save at some future point in time in case a patch breaks this mod or it stops being updated. Future-proofing.

Something is wrong with the Fence Supports, I can't seem to snap them in a straight angle.

OK, I got it!

1) Snap stairs to the platform sloping downwards toward the edge. This is easier than messing around with fence foundations or ladders.

2) Snap a foundation under them so it's slightly sticking out of the platform's side and you can still interact with it.

3) Now pick up the stairs and place a pillar on the foundation, and use it to snap another foundation to the height you want. I'd recommend just above the platform instead of sunk inside so you can remove any that are placed accidentally.

4) Then just remove everything but the last foundation.

If you want you can put another foundation out toward the edge on each alternating segment. I find that looks best. :)

It seems you can also snap stairs and catwalks to the snap points on tree platforms. It seems to work for some structures but not others. I wonder if it's the wrong type of snap point or something?

I think the tree platform's snap points are either one foundation height too high or too low.

I can only use them by placing a ladder half way through the platform, then another one on top, and then climbing on and immediately looking down to place a fence foundation in a consistent (And mostly accurate) spot, before using its snap points to try to line up a horizontal one to replace it.

It can still be done but it's a bit of a pain.

I've also discovered there's a second set of snap points just above so I can snap ladders onto the platform mid-air.

Sorry Rogue, but you did something or another mod did something. This mod can't brick anything, it's clean and simple.

I just added this on my server and it bricked the entire thing. The server wont even start. We've lost everything. Do not install this mod.

Is there any way you could add snap points to the canvas? Placing them manually for multi-canvas projects is a pain sometimes.

Fence Support snap points are absolutely hosed :( I can't for the live of me get fence supports to snap straight. All it wants to do is snap at two different 135 degree angles.
