Not sure what I'm missing here but when I subscribed to this map and started the game I've got no HUD and can't even fire a weapon. I would have expected to at least be able to play it. Currently, it's completely unusable for me. Unsubscribed, sorry.

This is the perfect default map for any server! By far the easiest and fastest map to join and suicide to select whatever map you want to play (or play and try to beat your high score :P)

Mostly The Easy Way To Dodge The Husks,I Found Out To Run Back And Forth The Walkway While Jumping,But Its Kinda Easy To Fall Off.

There are certain nodes in kismet that deranks a map when used. So you will get no xp when playing because of that.

Alright great man! And of course all credits to you, I don't want nor need any credit for it, I just really really want to play it with spitfires :steamhappy: And since I play a lot with friends, I need to upload it to the Steam Workshop so I can add it to my server. If I manage to do it that is!

As long as your credit the original source and link me in the created by I have no issue if you can manage it!

If you go in the kismet and adjust what spawn and put the meshes to match up with what is being picked up in kismet with hide and activate and etc... then you can just make a spitfire edition.

I havent updated this since the new additions of weapons. If I ever do find the time to update I will add the new projectile weapons to it!

@Trance :cfacepalm: Use constructive non-toxic feedback and people might actually listen to what you have to say. Starting off with "Really fucking dumb" and telling me to use my brain is going to get you nowhere with me or anyone else in a conversation.

But I will give you the benefit of the doubt and reply to this, with which you will probably reply back with a toxic message as people with your mentality usually do.

I don't give weapons at the start to prevent players from being able to kill the husks and keep the count down to where it is not challenging, this is especially a problem on big servers. The husk numbers grow, then you have to try and dwindle their numbers down when weapons are obtained.

If I gave everyone anything other than projectile weapons killing the husks would be too easy. That is why I only have the crossbow, rpg, grenade launcher, eviscerator and etc...

Really fucking dumb, instead of letting us dodge like idiots for a whole minute and only then being able to fight back against 30+ husks, wasn't it much more logical to just give a pistol from the start and every 30 seconds or a minute that passes a slightly better weapon spawns? Use your brain pls.

@puppy you can get an rpg after weapon pickups start spawning. You just have to run and dodge until that happens :beatmeat:

Would be nice (& maybe competitive) if players spawned with an RPG. As it is now, a quick death is iminent.

@poker If a modder that knows how to code mutators wants to make this a mutator. Then that would be possible. The way I did it was just a very jerry rig way of getting it working :p

This map just need a script that do the same of restart system appeared in VS mode.
Or the map-vote timer and ready room timer will make people never tend to play this minigame.

I played this 6 times and the Crossbow only spawned on my first time. The other 5 times had only ammo crate spawn and no Crossbow or any other weapon so I didn't have a weapon to shoot at Husk. On my 7th try, Grenade Launcher spawned.

@Forbearance There is an issue with updating maps. I do have an update in mind for this to fix and balance the mode some however I can't upload it because of the issue.

Is there a respawning mechanic? Also have seen that the levels do not increase, or we just cant get past level 1. haha

@ShadowCode147 That's just being rude for no reason. Guy made the map and clearly said he wanted to be informed about someone editing it. If you want to stuff without telling him, make your own map.

Seriously, that's not even relevant effort. If I were to edit this, I'd prolly spend a couple of hours tweaking it and like 5 minutes messaging the original author saying hi. Is that too much social behaviour?

It's just fucked up when people steal other people's work claiming it as their own. Make your own map, then you can take all credit. But the modding community is normally pretty cool and crediting people they get their ideas and assets from. Don't know why you'd wanna be different.

@Shadow If you are are going to edit a map and give credit, Why not let the mapper know about it and get it ok'd? It is next to no effort to do that and is a courtesy.

Not going to put much else into this reply since you think I am a "dicktard" for wanting to be aware of edits to my map.

@Johhny I recently had someone attempt to edit and release their "version" of one of my maps without asking and without giving any sort of credit. It was flagged and taken down.

So if you edit the map without asking me, it is not ok. If you ask me and have a conversation about why you want something edited, I can actually look into it myself. Or will deny what you ask if I am not ok with it, it depends on the topic.

tl:dr
Just ask me and don't go behind mappers backs on something they do for a labor of love for hours on end.

This is fuckin' genius.
Although it's WAY too difficult at the start of it. I'm not sure if there's any way to adjust the spawn frequency as the game goes on (I assume not), so I'm not sure what you could really do about it to prevent it from becoming really easy.
One thing, in High Velocity Raptor's video, it looks like they started with their starting weapons. I don't see any reason why this would be a problem. As long as ammo spawns are reasonable, it wouldn't get too easy (and from watching the video, it doesn't look like it got easy at all, since they didn't make it past round 2).
As it is, it's extremely difficult to get beyond round 2. Especially with random people.

Oh and I found a bug in playing it. I didn't pick up any ammo boxes (saving them for the weapon spawns) and no weapons spawned. I was checking the clock and I was about 3 minutes in and still didn't get a single weapon spawn.
