You say that redrawing is "complex", and you would be right if we were talking about 1920x1080 resolution drawings, but we're not. We're talking about 32x32 .png files where half the pixels are left transparent. It isn't complex at all, in the contrary, it's extremely easy to pull off and can be done in a minute or two. This kind of content requires no content whatsoever. The least you could do is credit Blizzard for making the original pixel arts.
