One gives a tool for koth/htf point placing, other gives a tool to block off areas you dont want players to teleport or jump to

Just checked on vanilla gmod - both loadout menu and quick loadout switch menu works.

Make sure you dont't have otehr addons on and stuff.

so to see if it work but it i coudnt get out of the menu for magic and weapon selection

where gamemode_type is "ffa", "koth", "tdm", "ts", "htf" without the quotes

Just the css content should be fine. HL2DM is mostly required for maps.

The hats and cosmetics were removed some time ago, because they were broken and outfit system itself was really bad on performance and outdated in general.

I think a Discord server for organizing games for this would be a good idea. I'm a big fan of the concept but haven't ever gotten to actually play it.

ik, saw that they're hardcoded into working with the gibs and stuff (ik that cuz someone else asked in the youtube comment section), maybe you could port bodyshots only? those look great, i tried to look for gore parts into the source of the gamemode but i got lost

The closest thing you can get to this is lite gibs or something.
The problem is that the gore is hardcoded as a part of a gamemode (so it works only with specific weapons, uses specific gamemode hooks, entitites and so on).

necrossin, could you please port the blood & gore from this to something which can be used in sandbox? those are 2 main things which make this gamemode super fun, i've tried to port them to sandbox myself but i didnt succeed because i couldnt really find specific lines of code about gibbing (also due to the fact i'm intermediate at gmod lua)

PLEASE NOTE OTHERS: If you wanna change to DoD or CSS characters. Have the names and the plural added with a down slash and the character you wanna be.

Gore got a bit of an overhaul recently, to support ragdolls + a bunch of optimizations to keep a bettr framerate.
I would not really call it a downgrade compared to one in trailer, but more of a sidegrade.
