Hey. I have a challenge for you.
Try to Solo your map Netherhold on Hell on Earth as a Sharpshooter level 20+.
I dare you, I double dare you.
And keep it in mind for your future maps.
</3
I can change the title name, but I don't know how to change the file name without uploading an entirely new workshop version which would need subscribing to. Is it at all possible?
I honestly barely know how steam workshop functions.
We will see what changes it will undergo in the hands of Tripwire / Saber :/
good map.
[*] -- The collectible Dosh necklaces should now properly track and display progress on how many have been found.
[*] -- Minor draw distance optimizations.
Based on all of it, Netherhold version 1.1 is now live. Any issues you find I'd love to hear, as always :)
Version 1.1 changelog:
- Fixed a collision issue related to one of the secret areas, which prevented players from entering a critical location.
- Hopefully fixed a bug where a Boss zed could somehow enter closed-off dining hall secret area, preventing players from reaching him if they did not know how to trigger said secret. If the Boss now enters that area, it should automatically open the doors without player influence, but otherwise remain closed.
- Tweaked weapon spawns; Many high-tier spawns have been reduced to starter tier items instead to prevent handing out too many powerful weapons for free. There are still a few Tier 2 weapon spawns to find.

Also cheers for feedback on weapon spawns. For the first iteration I think I'll downgrade some of them a bit but still leave a few tier 2 and maybe a couple tier 3's.
on the topis of weapon spawns, i think tier 2 weapons with the occasional tier 3 would be a good way to go. maybe tier 3s only in the harder areas to open?
Do you feel it is too overpowered and maybe makes the map too easy, or are you okay with it?
I am considering changing a lot of them, perhaps all, into regular starting tier weapons instead but would like to hear some general feedback on the matter.
And big thanks to Xel'crin for the awesome video playthrough!
@SupurDave
That's very odd, you should be able to go down the grate once the bars are destroyed. And even strange is that the boss should not be able to spawn in that room in the first place. I will look into the issue and have it fixed in 1.1 real soon, thanks for reporting it.

Nice map!
@NWHD
I can give you a hint; look for faint purple light. They indicate a secret nearby.
To those who simply want to get to the secrets asap, here is a spoiler video revealing all hidden and secret areas: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UTa83wxGU3Y
@HVR
Thanks for the video man, and for the damn awesome description on your youtube! Really appreciate very much the creative effort you put into it
@Bizzy & zachjd
