Maye it's just me but the AI doesn't seem to understand these need to be harvested. Unless I micro-manage my pawns will let it rot always while harvesting the othe crops.

Cool, though, while you might already know, I'll say it just incase:

Bamboo is not wood. It's a grass. A really, really thick grass. In most places we use wood we can use bamboo, but not everywhere.

Hey Ic3wav3, thanks for pointing out the errors. I think I have them all fixed, it should work with A16 now! However, A15 might not work correctly, if people don't update.

thank you captain and there is definitely a benefit to your idea your mod even more so if you chhose to set up shop some where cold all year around and even in winter.

@spenc - 1 bamboo yields 5-2 wood depending on difficulty. But, 1 tree yields 75-30 (I think) depending on type and difficulty. The base grow time of bamboo is 5 days, and a tree is 20 (again, I think). But, since the Hydroponics increase fertility, bamboo grows in 2.5 days. So, bamboo is worse than trees, but it's consistent and can be planted in a mountain hideout.

This is a great idea. Always hated having to plant trees, takes too damn long for the wood its yeilds. I prefer something quick, even if the wood only trickles in.
