Really great mod. You feel that you actually kill your enemy leaders. Thanks a lot!
DarthMagus 26 Jun, 2018 @ 9:43pm
Thanks for the mod!

@darkness

Its on workshop now
darkness soul99 28 Jan, 2018 @ 4:14am
Can you upload that mod please? Getting real sick and tired of fighting tyrion every 5 fucking turns.
darkness soul99 27 Jan, 2018 @ 12:56pm
@Thursdaythe12th would very much like this mod. Was just planning on doing it myself.
Thursdaythe12th 27 Jan, 2018 @ 4:49am
Just added the WH2 lords to your mod for TWW2.

Mind if I upload it and credit you?
Crynsos  [author] 16 Dec, 2017 @ 7:37am
It's not necessary to know where it is, just that it still exists and works the same in Warhammer 2 so just use it like I used it for all other lords already.
blank 16 Dec, 2017 @ 5:52am
@Crynsos Cant find it there either. Could you give me the number of the line?
Crynsos  [author] 15 Dec, 2017 @ 1:44pm
That just means that no vanilla legendary lord uses it, so of course you wouldn't see it there. Doesn't matter though as it is used in other places and can be found in the effects table.
blank 15 Dec, 2017 @ 4:42am
@Crynsos Yeah, but i cant seem to find the wh_main_effect_character_wound_recovery_time anywhere in the effect_bundles_to_effects_junctions table
Crynsos  [author] 10 Dec, 2017 @ 7:27am
I don't really intend to recreate this one for Warhammer 2, but it's very easy for everyone to do it themselves, as all you do is really just apply that effect to factions with Legendary Lords.
Ghost 9 Dec, 2017 @ 3:27pm
Great Mod man!! Good Job. Can u Update for WH2 Mortal Empires?
Karnak 3 Dec, 2017 @ 7:35am
Great. Thank you very much for this Mod. I hate immortal characters, you dont care about them.
It would be cool for mortal empires so i can buy WH2 ;-)

Sorry for my bad english.

Ryagi 15 Nov, 2017 @ 11:53pm
Having this as an option for mortal empires would be pretty dope.
Lampros 14 Nov, 2017 @ 4:03pm
I second Bruno as well.

In fact, I tried to do it myself by studying this mod, but I cannot find this entry wh_main_effect_character_wound_recovery_time_mod anywhere in the effect_bundles_to_effects_junctions table in WH2?
Bruno Magno 13 Nov, 2017 @ 4:50am
Do you intend to make this MOD for Warhammer 2? It would be very nice.
MoustachePrawn 4 Nov, 2017 @ 5:38pm
really need something like this for mortal empires :( just not the same facing the same lord 100 times
blank 2 Nov, 2017 @ 5:29am
Update for WH2 Mortal Empires?
Crynsos  [author] 10 Sep, 2017 @ 10:58am
It should work with most of them.
Brutus Salad 10 Sep, 2017 @ 10:49am
Hey Crynsos, does this mod work with Mixu's Legendary Lords? Or are only Vanilla Legendary Lords affected?
Crynsos  [author] 8 Sep, 2017 @ 4:25pm
@Lampros
All Legendary ones, no matter who controls them.

@Belgarion1066
That is a very hard thing to do, which I don't really want to attempt.

@somekindofpast
I don't intend to make that, but feel free to do it yourself by using this mod as a base and just changing the numbers around.
somekindofpast 8 Sep, 2017 @ 4:08pm
Crynsos, could you make a version of this mod where LLs do come back, they just have a fairly long time out? Something like double their vanilla recovery time maybe? So that you don't have to fight the same lord over and over during an offensive. Thanks a bunch!
Kylar 24 Aug, 2017 @ 3:48am
Is it possible to make all lords legendary? was wondering as tired of recking low level ai lords with my fully lvled legendary lords
Lampros 23 Aug, 2017 @ 5:16am
Hugh,

Hmmm, so the AI Lords are mortal, too? I un-subscribed because I thought only the player Lords were mortal!
Bruno Magno 23 Aug, 2017 @ 5:16am
Hello Crynsos.

First of all. Thanks for the excelent MOD.
Those immortal Lords really irritate me..
Nevertheless i would like to have your permission to alter your mod a bit, so it fits exactly my preferences. And publish it on Steam.
Of course, the credits will be all yours.
Crynsos  [author] 14 Aug, 2017 @ 9:12am
Updated to include Wulfrik and Throgg
 14 Aug, 2017 @ 4:01am
@Crynsos Please update the mod
 12 Aug, 2017 @ 1:40am
Please update the mod
Crynsos  [author] 22 Jul, 2017 @ 12:12pm
No, that goes against the basic structure of the game.
H.E Armstrong 22 Jul, 2017 @ 11:17am
is it possible to make a mod where you dont have to have lords
TheClitCumandr 14 Jul, 2017 @ 1:16pm
I cannot thank you enough for this. I have killed Grimgor's ass more times than I can count only to have him come back at me with a full army two turns later. Time to finally put his bitch ass to rest. RIP grimbitch.
Crynsos  [author] 10 Jul, 2017 @ 6:10am
@Dominator131
Sorry for the late reply, but yes I do intend to keep it updated, though I don't know if I will port it over to WH2. But with as simple as it is, anyone can really just do it themselves.

@Pepare for Sooce
I don't think they will.
Doug the Rock Johnson 9 Jul, 2017 @ 6:16pm
Will things like the Carstien ring and Morghurs respawn ability still work?
Dominator131 22 Jun, 2017 @ 1:50am
Crynsos do you plan to update this mod when WH2 arrives? This might be the most essential mod that I use. I would do my own updates to this mod myself, but I can't find the place where all the faction leaders or leg lords are listed :(
Crynsos  [author] 31 May, 2017 @ 8:57am
Only legendary ones, normal lords are mortal anyways.
MoustachePrawn 31 May, 2017 @ 5:43am
does this affect all lords or just the legendary lords? either way amazing mod!
voiceofreason467 30 May, 2017 @ 3:30pm
That is very unfortunate... I'm not exactly skilled in modifying files at the moment and what with the current prospect of the Grand World Campaign in Total War: Warhammer II... the idea of doing it for this game isn't exactly appealing.
Crynsos  [author] 30 May, 2017 @ 3:28pm
As I said, I don't intend to build any further on the concept of them being mortal and that would result in a much more complex mod that I don't really have interest in creating more of at this point.
voiceofreason467 30 May, 2017 @ 3:26pm
Okay, far enough. It's just an idea, if you can, try and get a poll going on to see who would support a mod like that. I'd pass it around the forums once a week over on reddit. They love the mods I share.

As far as the Dwarves... if that happens then there should be like a mod that makes it so that way you can have a Rune Lord or one of the lord legendary lords get the throne. Make it condition on, "If Throgrim is Dead." Also, if he died with his gear, the legendary lord nad/or Runelord gets his gear. Just an idea if you're going to think about doing this.
Crynsos  [author] 30 May, 2017 @ 3:22pm
This mod isn't meant to be realistic or lore-accurate, it's simply a requested equalizer between legendary and normal lords, which is easy enough to edit yourself or simply not use it at all.
I don't plan to extend or modify this mod and while such a change to Orion is probably possible, the popularity of another mod that messes with him like that is quite questionable.

Making generic lords immortal is far from easy and clearly not something I intend to do.

As for Dwarfs, I'm fairly sure that even if Thorgrim dies, they would rally behind other leaders such as Ungrim and Grombrindal to recover the Throne instead of just going full mass-suicide, as they were always much more practical than emotional.
voiceofreason467 30 May, 2017 @ 3:12pm
Honestly, while this makes sense theoretically... other times it just doesn't because of lore. For example, if Thorgrim is killed for good then his chair is destroyed. His very throne which is carried into battle is consistently regarded as the very center piece of Dwarven resilience and if it were to ever be destroyed in battle, the Dwarven people would not only the will to fight, they would effectively begin to die off as they commit suicide for a loss of honor for be unwilling to fight.

Other's such as Orion are just reborn, so having him just take the level's, skills, traits, etc... and just be renewed again with his previous stats from before he was taken out just makes sense. Maybe updating it so it adds that dynamic... maybe having it so every 20 something turns Orion has to be taken out of the army for about 7 turns. Something like that. Maybe you can add a mod that adds that dynamic, including making other lords mortal and immortal.
Jon 25 May, 2017 @ 11:55am
This is what I was looking for, I hate the bs immortal LL,
Thank you!
DRunkCoWBoy 26 Apr, 2017 @ 7:28pm
Could you perhaps point me in the direction in PFM to do the opposite of this and make every lord immortal like a legendary lord. I thought i could figure it out by looking at this but certainly did not.
Revan519 4 Apr, 2017 @ 6:01am
yeah seem to be only working for the player still a good mod though
Crynsos  [author] 1 Apr, 2017 @ 4:43pm
It should theoretically work for all factions and all Legendary Lords, but you may need to start a new campaign to get it to work.
The way I implemented, it may only work for the player, but I never got around to test that.
Does this work on all Factions? been playing the new Bretonnia campaign and King Louen Leoncour had died and worked as normal, I killed the Red duke and he is still about?
Lampros 26 Mar, 2017 @ 7:35pm
Wow, interesting concept. Hmmm, since I've not had my LL assassinated ever perhaps worth getting this? (Watch me get killed next game!) ;)
Crynsos  [author] 26 Mar, 2017 @ 7:31pm
Yep, no change other than LLs not being available any longer.
Lampros 26 Mar, 2017 @ 7:06pm
Wait, so what happens to those factions who lose LLs? Do they continue to carry on?
Crynsos  [author] 16 Mar, 2017 @ 1:20am
All of the minor faction lords of my Faction Unlockers have been included since this mod came out.
