Hi Jake. Nope, unfortunately the game is limited to a play space of 17.24km². We couldn't do it if we tried. :/ Has to do with the game engine limitations

hopefully you'll respond again haha, love playing both wollongong and shell harbour maps and was wondering if you know if theres a mod that merges the two maps? so i can build in both cities in the 1 game? or if u have a map with both regions? great work

ik you won't respond but any plans on making wollongong/ illawarra? i really love this and built it exactly like how it is irl and i wanna do that witht he rest of gong but theres only so few maps and they're all not good

Uh oh! Either you haven't subscribed and activated (double check that, on Content Manager) the trees, or you have an unrelated mod problem. A mod can mess with your game and make trees and roads disappear. That's not a mod you want to ever use :D 90% chance it's an old / broken mod.

You made this part of wollongong more better than the map i created back in 2016.. i am impressed - if i kept making maps i would have ended up being as good as you in creating maps.. but my none busy life is too busy to concentrate on making maps

Awesome! I feel as if I've been there. I did enough driving around on Google street view :D I had no idea what Australia looks like aside from what we see in the movies. Weird but beautiful trees. So glad Mr Maison churned out so many Aussie trees for this, and then a year after this map along came Pdelmo and half the workshop went down under :D Happy building!

You can pick any theme for this map which was created using temperate base, just avoid the ones that say 4K. Pick a different one when starting or loading your city. It will pop up with the warning. Just say "okay" to a default theme, and actually the custom one you chose shows up, not a default theme. I wish they would fix that so I don't have to type this to everyone :D :D :D Hope it fixes your game experience!

Launch Codes
On Steam overlay click library > rightclick on Cities Skylines > Properties > Set Launch Options.

Load the game without workshop content:
Add '--noWorkshop' (without the quote marks) under Steam > library > rightclick on Cities Skylines > Properties > Set Launch Options.
Start up the game and click "new game" choosing this map. If it loads up without a crash, you've probably got too many assets.

To manage this, get yourself Loading Screen Mod, which is super handy. During the normally boring game loading stage, it shows you the running tally of how much RAM you're using up to your computer's max. If you're reaching into the red, unsubscribe from things you don't absolutely want.

Hi josh, a map can*t do that, but there's about a 90% chance that this is the issue: too many subscriptions which send your computer over the max of its RAM. It is so easy to do with this game. The Monte Belo theme is 4K, so it could be too much for your computer. A theme is actually optional and won't cause an error even though it has a "warning" (lol) popup about theme missing. To test if it's a RAM, enter the no workshop code before launching the game here:

chris, on this page, just below the images is a bright green button. Click it to "subscribe" (that's Steam-speak for download). You will get a popup "list of required items". Click each of those, which opens an extra page, click subscribe to that one, close it, do it again for each of the five items. Then fire up your game and start building in Shellharbour! :)
