As you recognized, i did not update the mod for a long time.
Real life has completely consumed me, so I have no time for ARK and modding.
i know, this is not what you want to hear, but i hope this will change in the future.
i am working on it.

Ive just gotten back into ark and I want to put this mod into my single player world. However, it isnt showing up in the mod selection. Ive subscribed and reloaded my game several times. Anyone know what the problem is and how to fix it?

I like the look of this but had a question, Would it be possible to edit the recipe making it more expensive & edit durability to make it 1-5 time usage? My reasoning is to fix a mistake in builds (ie if they need to remove a piece) but not allow all the functionality of this mod & to limit it by making it more expensive & not permanent.

Is there anyway to get the weight to work I tried multiple things but nothing has worked trying to set it to 2000 which say it is the max

Best and most useful mod EVER! I love the building in this game, but sometimes mistakes happen, or I change my mind and this little mod makes everything just right. Saves me a lot of materials as well. Combined with some of the building mods I use, this one's a keeper!

Thank you for responding. I meant custom tags such as preventpickup which s+ or similar mods use that other mods can include in their structures to prevent accidental pickup.

I just tested picking it up normally, i put stuff in and used in-game pickup function and a bag was dropped. Same if you destroy it, but if i pick it up with your helmet there's no bag.
It works fine with S+ Tek Storage tho. Can you test it and let me know if you're having same issue? Or is it something on my end. I'm surprised no one else complain on that part yet :D Or maybe no one made such mistake yet, i only did it cause it was too slow to take stuff out so i figured i can pick it up with helmet and bag will drop and i can just pull all out of it to a dino but all i had inside was gone lol, lucky it was just stone that can be recollected.

Hey, have you read your Bug pinned channel? I've reported a major issue that's of high importance back in november and it's still a thing.

If you pick up Tek Storage with this helmet all items in them are getting destroyed, they just disappear instead of dropping in a bag. Imagine having 10.000 element there from hard working boss fights and you just lose them by a mistake, it's mind breaking.

Manchmal sind die kleinen Dinge die besten!

Alleine die Tatsache das ich mit diesem Helm jede meiner Strukturen wieder abbauen kann ohne sie zu zerstören macht diese Mod für mich unentbehrlich.

Jetzt macht bauen in Ark und vor allem Dingen älteres umbauen gleich nochmal so viel Spaß.

@General LEX, i do not want to add a structure to this mod, this is too much work for me. And a structure can also be placed everywhere. So, this will not help. And i do not know, if there is a way to check, if you are in a base or not.

If i could make a suggestion,Instead of the Helmet (i like it but)

I dont like people running all around on the map with the Helmet just because it give them the weight bonus that i want to be able to build base.

Would it be possible to place a Structure that give this buff around the base, and when outside range buff is gone. Inside its range you can give every settings from the helmet.
So yea ... no more helmet which was cool, but at least would prevent people running around with it all time while exploring

First of all, thank you for this incredible mod. It's one of the best out there: Simple and useful.
May I ask you if you plan on fixing the weight issue ?

I like the fact that this item can be used by anyone on the server without being admin... This weight option was very useful but it's not working anymore sadly.

Whatever your decision is, thank you for this mod

@Jeffrey C Drywater the distance is not adjustable. it is the Ark Engine Distance for accessing structures.

Greetings. I do not see any option to change the range of the highlight - in other words, how close I need to be to a wall to see the outline. Is this adjustable and I am missing it or is it not adjustable. Thanks in advance and I appreciate your work.

@All WARNING, Weight changes need an update of the mod due to Ark engine changes.
Instead you can use the "Ingame creative mode", there is a new option for infinite weight (please have a look at the last Ark update log)

Has anyone got the Autobuild feature to work? I've set the shift key option to both True and False in the INI and neither setting activates Autobuild.

@ Zenchi... I was having this problem in single player but it wasn't a mod problem and I fixed it. I pasted the INI stuff in and it saved fine, however I remembered I had set my INI file to "read only" to fix the high quality material settings. It therefore wasn't actually saving the pasted text but didn't tell me there was a problem.

I did it again and saved the INIi file then set it back to "read only" and the helmet now does weight increase as it is supposed to. This may or may not be your problem, but thought it would be worth you setting the INI file to "read only" after you save it.

I'm currently having a problem with the weight, I've copied the code into the ini file at the bottom and saved, unlocked the Ingram, plut on the helmet but I'm still unable to pick up anything past my characters weight limit. Not sure what i am doing wrong lol...

Loving this mod i think its amazing and so so useful and i thank you so much for it :D,
I came up with an idea/request/suggestion is it possible to make either a toggle'able option or another piece of kit that allows you to "x-ray" the blocks you placed? reason for it would be for when you are placing cable/pipe that way you can place it accuratly within the block without having to pull it up.
