For when we change the model thats everyone know thats a ammo box
Please check, if there are any duplicates of the addon file on your server (maybe the old version)...
What gamemode are you using?
Dynamic ammo will try to give the player one full clip and overrides the static ammo setting.
(If I remember correctly)
unfortunately I don't really have the time to update this addon anytime soon.
You can change the max ammo level by editing sh_aad_init.lua, line 156.
Giving out ammo for only the weapon, which is currently in the players hand is currently not planned as a feature. I might consider it for the future tho
could you make a setting so it only resupply's held weapons (health swep's that get 150 ammo along held weapon/weapons in inventory is not challenging)
also could you make the resupply limit higher amount than 150 (a nice challenge though)
I'm not saying your addon is bad though keep up the good work :)
Next release will include a major rewrite of most of the code, might take more time then initially planned.
[Suggestion] In addition to the stationery (permanent) entity that's already in your addon, you could also add a consumable entity (ex. Ammo box) that acts similarly to the base game ammo boxes when consumed. But instead of only giving one type of ammo (buckshot, pistol, etc...), it would give ammo for all the weapons the player is carrying.
- Dynamic Ammo Bug will be fixed with a fallback option for weapons where it can't get the clip size
- I could implement a cooldown sound, I'll think about it
- The settings should already only be accessible by superadmins, however in next release I will improve security
- The menu idea is great:
I will redo some parts of the addon, this includes the config, it will be move to the spawnmenu utilities tab, no more command/menu.
I will also change some other parts of the code which will improve performance a bit.
Most of the stuff is already changed, I try to publish the update this weekend.

Second, I have a couple bugs(?), nitpicks, and suggestions. I know that it's been a while since the last update, and there may be little to no motivation, or incentive, to continue working on it but hear me out.
[Bug] Dynamic Ammo, when toggled on, does got work with weapons that lack a <Reserve> ammo pool. (ex: RPG, Grenades, This , etc).
[Suggestion] A way for the player to know that the dispenser is in cooldown. A texture change for example.
[Nitpick] The settings command being accessible by all players, would be great if only the super-admin can use this command.
[Nitpick] The settings ONLY being accessible via commands. it would be epic if it appeared in "Utilities" and can only be used by admin.

mostly because this addon doesnt even work.
In any case, it seems like there's a problem for your server then, maybe something is conflicting, maybe send me your workshop collection and I'll have a look.
It makes no sense to me, this addon is written to use basic Gmod lua functions which should always work and you're the first person to have any problem at all...
