Feel free to edit the file yourself if you have the know how. Or, use a mod that lets you upgrade weapons.

I like it however the weapon is a bit weak, besides that its nice.

Any way of this ever being for download for a Non-Steam version? Been trying to use this on Unstable yet it's an absolute chore trying to find the right file with Pak Explorer in the workshop folders.

it doesnt look Futuristic apart from the glowy bits and it looks like a M16A4.
R.Windu 11 Mar, 2018 @ 5:35pm
Thats a good looking rifle.
Revalopod 24 Nov, 2017 @ 11:17pm
Is a mod needed to display DPS?
GrunsTala 20 Aug, 2017 @ 3:19pm
Its about the (non-Racial) Pathfinder Set ?
keylocke 27 Jul, 2017 @ 12:03am
can you do a T6-T7 version with a secondary fire that shoots grenades?
Kallas 19 Nov, 2016 @ 7:42pm
Can these rifles be carried into other players games like the random gen weps?

Hmm. Are you using any overhaul mods? I'm not sure what it's referring to when it says 'No index header found!'.
she/her 23 Aug, 2016 @ 12:06am
I'm on Stable, cause unless they moved Starbound Unstable to the beta tab on Steam, the mods would be seperate for this and that since they are seperate games on Steam.

Also, there were no other mods that got updated before I launched the game besides this one as far as I'm aware.

@Metro
Are you using the stable version of the game, or the Unstable? Or the Nightly? Also, keep track of any mods you subscribed to recently, or ones that may have updated around the time your error began occurring.

This mod just suddenly started crashing my game for no reason at startup. The logs would show that when this was loaded, it just crashes with "No index header found!"; after unsubscribing, the game now launches again.

Here's the pastebin log for in case you need further info. http://pastebin.com/X4CSZXK6

oh yay, that sounds good. I might get the game then.

@deathswagga
Yep: draws from personal energy, like all guns in Starbound to my knowledge: after a brief pause, your bar will begin to regenerate and fill back up.
Revalopod 17 Aug, 2016 @ 2:27am
but does energy regenerate?
BIG SCIENCE  [author] 16 Aug, 2016 @ 11:07am
@deathswagga
It takes energy to fire. If you use /admin, you can goof around with infinite energy and health. Another option to get infinite energy for a time is to use a staff with an Energy Field alternate spell, and to stand in it. That's a good way to boost the DPS of high-energy consuming weapons, since you can spend more time firing it.

@ShirtyScarab554
The weapons I make aren't meant to be end-game weapons unless otherwise stated, so that they don't outclass existing assets in the game or other mods. If you want to do more damage, I would suggest outfitting armor that focuses in damage.

@Mattheww117
Note that the anvil has to be Tier 3, the Replicator, and thus able to make T4 and up items.
Revalopod 16 Aug, 2016 @ 3:20am
does it haf infinite ammo????
Colt 14 Aug, 2016 @ 12:44pm
I like this because it's nice to have standard weapons, its hard to believe everyone in the universe uses a unique weapon, you know?

Thanks for this!
ShirtyScarab554 13 Aug, 2016 @ 8:41pm
Great sprite and noise, but I'm disapointed at the lack of damage considering how late in the game you get this, same with the smg's, great everything except the damage. PLEASE buff the weapons a bit.
Gawain 12 Aug, 2016 @ 4:25pm
will not work for me
i have tier three and the stuff but cant find it

It wouldn't be terribly hard but it would be time consuming, actually.
BIG SCIENCE  [author] 10 Aug, 2016 @ 12:56pm
@MarcusMcDiel
I've considered making weapons with upgradeable versions you can build them to, to boost their performance or give them a different alternate ability or stat sidegrade. I'm not as up to snuff on the coding aspect, but as I learn more I can give it a try.
McDiel 10 Aug, 2016 @ 5:40am
Subscribed and will build soon...
btw, can I have something like an upgradeable rifle? (i.e. that you upgrade from common to uncommon to rare to legendary with Upgrade modules or somefin)...
or at least an endgame rifle? Need something to waste all this aegisalt and solarium on :/
