@Pride SIP only works with mods that you have patches for. Frackin Universe has some avali stuff patched into it for some reason (i think), which is why they show up when using SIPFU.

Also, this is outdated. See link in description for an updated FU patch for SIP.

Only certain ones. The items, so far as I'm aware, all have to be programmed in manually. That said, I have noticed that there are a few Avali items in it for some reason.

I went ahead and asked him already. He made all the other SIP patches and, like me, is part of the FU development team.
Personally, I really like SIP for building freely. :D

Not that I can think of, but I'm afraid haven't played for about two months. I'm deep in Subnautica these days, after years of building bases in Starbound like it was Subnautica.

And I say bring him on.

any ores or crap I should plug in? not really worried about quest items, cosmetic tiles, or elder/precursor stuff (especially that last one. don't wanna make sayter unleash the bees...again). just worried about crafting necessities that can't be obtained via other crafting chains for right now.

Man, there's so much in this mod that at this point that if you can't get somethng directly from the pack then you can almost certainly spawn the materials/equipment you need to make it. There's, like, two things I can think of that I don't know how to get and they both sound like little more than quest mcguffins. New shopkeepers ask for them. Presumably you find them in a randomly spawning dungeon.

I hope they're not in Elder or Precursor dungeons because I've never been able to find one of either of those. Ever.

Yeah, FU team updates pretty much every week. It ususally takes me like 4 hours of building/testing to update a patch, and working 50 hour weeks makes that kind of hard. Sorry I can't update more often, but I promise I haven't forgotten about it :)

This mod will forever be out of date simply because FU's updates are out of date by the time they're posted. I honestly believe that those guys have put more work into their mod than Chucklefish put into the vanilla game at this point.

@Hotpants, I just recently removed ALL of the devtools and no longer made them available for spawn (as per the request of the FU dev team). That's probably why it's missing now. As cookie said, I'd recommend exploring the github files to find the item names and then /admin them in.

I know the item duplicator still exists; I used it only a few months ago. I just don't think it's in the SIP to prevent easy access to it.

It used to be. There was some kind of item scanner that (if memory serves) spat out info on the scanned item into a text file. Or something like that. I never actually used it. I just remember looking at it.

I posted about the duplicator in the discussion section here about a year ago.

I don't think any of the dev tools from FU are available in the SIP. Feel free to explore the github files to find the item IDs to spawn them in.

I mean the little device you use to duplicate anything you stick inside it. Useful in combination with other mods or new/missing material from FU. Looked like a pet healing station. I noticed one or two other, similar tools are missing, as well. Wasn't sure if they'd been removed from FU or just managed to fall through the cracks during an update of this mod.

Hell, there's a certain pleasure to be had just in properly organizing your resource storage. Which is good because you have to do that over and over with FU.

You just need to have a measure of self-restraint and limit yourself on what you take from the SIP. I mainly use it for building, but I also use it to finish silly rng gathering quests immediately.

I personally love exploring and building and looting, so even if I can easily get resources from the SIP, I still like to gather them myself and store them all in a large loot facility for all my characters to use.

you should make a version that only shows things such as furniture, cosmetics, collectables. I find it hard to force myself to actually craft things when everything is free. and the thats where the fun comes from.

cookie tells me that a lot of the devs use it; or at least a lot of people on the FU official server do. it makes sense for testing purposes; instead of having to /admin every item they need to test.

When you get a chance, please update again. We've added a lot of stuff to FU. Also, please see if you can have your mod skip the "notyetadded" folder as nothing in there should be usable and will only generate errors in the mod.

They have. The mod, ztarbound, is a conglomerate of many of the UI changes made by the developer who designed them.

And the issue that was mentioned below was fixed because someone actually finally provided a log for us.

I haven't followed Frackin's development in a long time (haven't played Starbound in a long time, actually). Have they introduced any significant changes to the game's UI in recent updates?

I think something about frackin universes' UI breaks the quickbar mini, as without it i can use quickbar mini no problems with all the mods that require it showing up, however when i install frackin universe (creating a new character or not) and whether or not i have this patch installed the quickbar is there but no mod that requires it shows up in the quickbar. Probably a fault of frackin universe however thought i'd let you know considering you've made a patch for it to spawn items.

I don't know if this is a bug or something wrong with how i'm going about this but this is what's happening. I just reinstalled the game and redownloaded this mod and it's patch for f universe. But for some reason, whenever I create a new character, I cannot find the option to open spawnable items pack in the ui window. Any solutions? (and yes, I did check if the mod is active)
