pls make penguin piracy patch that makes it so penguin head is visible

for some reason when I get hit by it's legs
the entire boss just DESPAWN
no death animation ,no fragment ,doesn't count killed
I had to somewhat no-hit(melt it before I get hit by) this boss to complete mission

that can be deployed just like a mech too?

Yeah its broke and keeps falling through the ground when it is summoned. Its a shame this used to be quite fun to just summon out of the sky on top of a bunch of baddies and watch it smash them. I doubt it will be fixed by the original mod author since it has not been updated in years. Maybe someone could get the code and do some diving and fix it up and re-upload. I have zero experience myself or I would do it.

is it ok if you could fix the issue of when spawning the velicle in it just falls through the floor

I'm also having a similar issue. Every time I kill Mecharacnid it drops the codex entry, but none of the doors open to let me out of the boss arena, so I cant get to the teleporter to finish the quest

What is the quest id so I can just finish it with that?

Update: I just tried using the Mecharacnid and doing the leg attack bugged out, dissapeared and idk how to get it back lulw.

I had the same problem as @Tmerus, but I think it's a certain close range attack that makes the Mecharacnid to kill itself (the one that hits you with one of his legs). I tried fighting it long range baiting the laser attack and could kill it. I hope this can help someone lol.

God, I really like this mod, and I like to use it before 1.3.
But now I often shout out, and it disappears.

whats with the healing impaired debuff? I can literally get myself killed by walking over two normal tiles. by the time I get to the boss i am at half or less health and as the debuff states {healing does nothing} this bich be cheating ngl.

what is the wreckage used for?

vehicle spawn id? fall damage (i have the fall damage mod) killed it but it didn't register.

just learned that if you hold A and D at once while in the seat makes it go crazy (like the boss does sometimes)

PS: But the Functions of this Vehicle is a Masterpiece. ^^ Even the Boss Sequence. (y) 8/10

This "noclip"- GLITCH... is realy a big Problem. :|

The Mecharachnid worked for the first few times I used it, then started no-clipping straight into the ground. Tried everything the comments have suggested so far: digging a hole, making a platform, summoning it in the air, etc, but no avail. I hope this bug is fixed soon because it's a seriously fun addition, but it's not so great if I can't use it. :/

Mine used no clip and fell through the world before I could go in it.

TIP. to stop the thing from flying in too the floor use it on a spot witch is protected/blocks that can not be destroyed. NOTE. the blocks at the core of a moon CAN be destroyed they are SUPER STRONG!!!

Very smooth! Very nice! Just took me some times to figure how to make it spawn correctly :

There is only like a 15% chance the mecharachnid will spawn in normally, the rest of the time it just flies through the floor. i downloaded the backpack mod and stuffed a backpack full of mecharachnid controllers and ive burned through half of them, and only one has spawned in correctly. please fix this glitch soon!

so i tried to summon it inside the avian mission and it went straight to hell, and now they all do that
