Queensarrow 20 Mar @ 7:40am
for anyone wondering this replaces the vanilla one
Mabra 26 Nov, 2024 @ 12:51am
Does it cover less blocks when mounted on a ceiling ?
Ricochet  [author] 22 Jan, 2023 @ 11:26am
@SaphirDragon: As far as I Remember it is a normal Sprinkler, I only added additional ways to place it. but its long since I worked on it ;)
SaphirDragon 22 Jan, 2023 @ 4:35am

Kabraliah 7 Aug, 2019 @ 9:14am
@D.A.R.K. Yes, works perfectly with 1.4
D.A.R.K. 8 Jul, 2019 @ 9:33am
Does this MOD still work with 1.4 update?
Ricochet  [author] 2 Apr, 2018 @ 11:27am
if its installed on the Server too, yes then it works in Multiplayer too
Yaoi Tiddie Expert 1 Apr, 2018 @ 4:17am
Does this work in multiplayer?
Capt. Son 29 Jan, 2018 @ 11:48am
is it safe to use this with vanilla starbound?
Mongar 24 Oct, 2017 @ 6:03am
If the sprinkler diseppears from crafting tables , you can still spawn it in. If you are making a survival just gather up the materials , throw them in the bin , type /admin , type /spawnitem sprinkler , type /admin again , and there you have it !
HOODSTAIN 17 Jul, 2017 @ 12:18pm
A: this should of been vanilla
B: why does it have that tiny ass thing to spew water? it would make more sence to have the "base" spew out water. if you look at most watering cans, it shows that design
Cpt. Headcrab 13 Apr, 2017 @ 9:27pm
Is this compatible with the current version of Starbound?
LynxQueen 21 Mar, 2017 @ 11:28am
Disappeared from craftables

While I still have issues with the dispersion being uneven on normal planets with ceiling mounted sprinklers. On my latest asteroid base they have proved to work VERY nicely in low gravity. Which is nice seeing as the default ground sprinklers won't work at all in low gravity. :) So if you want to make a space base with crops, these are a must.

I am using your mod for my mod collektion. Thank you.:mksuitcase:

The mod's icon could be a bit better, and the sprinkler placing would look more natural if it was facing up by default.
Soulcast 29 Dec, 2016 @ 10:33pm
It'd be nice to include some distance values from testing this out, like ceiling/wall heights and how range increases per each block the sprinkler is raised. I'm inclined to do this science myself tho
Iradicate 1 Dec, 2016 @ 12:40am
Great mod!! Thanks for showing the range!
VinchenzoTheJackal & Shoon 9 Sep, 2016 @ 10:37am
This is ingenious! Makes sense these things can be placed on ceilings and walls, and depending on how you design a farm, it is more efficient to place them on either floor, wall, or ceiling. Hope this is added in game with a patch...
Erredan 7 Sep, 2016 @ 4:27am
Oh, i see, sanks!
Ricochet  [author] 6 Sep, 2016 @ 1:01pm
the mod doesnt add a new item, it just modifies the "Sprinkler", wich is crafted at the "Agricultural Table", like everything else that has to do with advanced gardening
Erredan 6 Sep, 2016 @ 1:52am
Can't find it. Where he craft?
FerventVehemence 23 Aug, 2016 @ 8:01pm
I like this mod -- it improves realism
Ricochet  [author] 9 Aug, 2016 @ 7:31am
send me a screenshot and the log in a discussion thread and i will see what i can do.
Chocomogtaur 8 Aug, 2016 @ 7:34pm
Very useful mod and works nicely in single player, but I just discovered it glitches when I run a dedicated server with it. Is there any way this can be resolved?
Ricochet  [author] 7 Aug, 2016 @ 2:33pm
@ Bronzewing:
sorry, but thats how the vanilla script works and i just wanted to add the additional oriantations.
not more not less
Bronzewing 5 Aug, 2016 @ 10:30pm
Only problem I have with these is when I tried them ceiling mounted the spread seemed very uneven, I got 15 blocks right of the sprinkler head, and only 13 the other side, there were also gaps that took a LONG time to get water. this was with the sprinkler 8 blocks high above the growing area. While not having them taking up ground space is good, the longer time to water the same area kind of makes them less useful than the default mount for me. haven't tried wall mounted ones yet.
Turns out I had to add it to the dedicated server and now its working fine.
Ricochet  [author] 1 Aug, 2016 @ 10:31am
@WP Almedi: I testet the Mod (again) and it didnt crash. Send me the Logfile or i cant do anything.

but its very unlikely that its my mod
When I try to place it on a wall or ceiling it crashs my game completly
Ricochet  [author] 30 Jul, 2016 @ 4:26am
its the same spread, but if it hangs higher you should be able to water a larger area. just the density isnt so high then.
DCI Benway 29 Jul, 2016 @ 1:15pm
How's the spread on these? The same as when they're on the ground?
Kaffe Kane 28 Jul, 2016 @ 5:02pm
Having this be mounted on ceilings is useful enough to me. Makes it so farms don't have space taken away by sticking them on the ground.

I'm really not sure if wall-mounting them would make them more effective, but if that's a thing that will be tested, then adding the ability to put them on walls also wouldn't be a bad idea.
Ricochet  [author] 28 Jul, 2016 @ 11:24am
i will think about it.
Luckmann 27 Jul, 2016 @ 5:51pm
Good or bad, I'll throw in my support behind wall-mounted sprinklers. You might not see the use, but I swear that people will come up with one. I wouldn't mind having it just so I don't need ceilings. :P
Ansixilus 27 Jul, 2016 @ 4:37pm
Well, given that the water drops are affected by gravity (right?) a wall-mount would offer a wider spread per sprinkler, and since a wall/tower thing could be built above the plants (via background tiles) it shouldn't need to interfere with planting space.
Ricochet  [author] 27 Jul, 2016 @ 4:07pm
hey... it is possible, but i dont see any advantage in wall mountet sprinklers. you would lose a good area for watering as well.
Ansixilus 27 Jul, 2016 @ 3:05pm
Would it be possible / not too difficult to make them mountable on walls as well?
Ricochet  [author] 27 Jul, 2016 @ 12:29pm
@Luckmann: i can do this, but i have to pack it first, i think i can do this till the weekend
@lowranker: i dont know any reason why it shouldnt. i didnt tried it, so i cant answer you this question, sorry
xolophreny 27 Jul, 2016 @ 11:00am
Is it compatible with vanilla MP servers?
Luckmann 27 Jul, 2016 @ 10:29am
Non-workshop download for non-Steam users, maybe? Please? Q_Q
Cipher 26 Jul, 2016 @ 3:29pm
Sweet thanks adding to my collection :)
Ricochet  [author] 26 Jul, 2016 @ 3:27pm
yes, not more not less
Cipher 26 Jul, 2016 @ 1:51pm
So this just makes the vanilla srinkler placeable on celings too?
Blackbow™ 26 Jul, 2016 @ 1:47pm
cool !!
