This looks great, does iit stiill work?
Posivi  [author] 30 Aug, 2016 @ 10:17pm
See this one for stable-branch:
http://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=754882055

It is slighlty different from the dev-version tho.

doesnt work on the normal builds
Posivi  [author] 28 Aug, 2016 @ 10:25am
Sorry, was on vacation.
Reuploaded the world - should be working now! (tested on develop)

and i may have another bug all the recources are ice ecept for iron, silver and stone or space engineers has to have made other recources verry rare
but now i have ice in lots of collors
black ice
green ice
lots of different blue ice
nickel collor ice

has anyone encountert another problem like this?
lieven121 25 Aug, 2016 @ 3:09am
after doing much testing i found that the "broken planets" are Xapriea HD and earth HDD i tested in the stable/normal branch
lieven121 25 Aug, 2016 @ 2:28am
yes the world is broken :(
Dmitriy-RU 24 Aug, 2016 @ 9:03am
The mod now incompatible with 144 stable. World is corrupted message appears.
Posivi  [author] 12 Aug, 2016 @ 12:16pm
Sorry, i can´t tell you why it wouldn´t load for you since i do not have any problems with this world.
The only time i´m getting the "world is corrupted" error is when i do not remove Xapriea HD from the mods. You sure you removed the right mod?
bergdavi 10 Aug, 2016 @ 2:14pm
The game says that the world is corrupted when I try to load it. What am I doin wrong? I'm on the dev branch and I removed Xapriea HD from the mods.

Oh and by the way Sol is the sun
QuintusJ 31 Jul, 2016 @ 7:46am
Ah thanks.
QuintusJ 31 Jul, 2016 @ 7:46am
If your curious as to how I placed my calculations basicly as I'm sure you are aware the max dimater in SE is 120km and the largest planet wbich is Jupiter has the diameter of 139,822km. So 139,822km divided by 120km is 1,165. So I divided the diameter of each of the planets and their moons km by 1,165. Seeing as SE's Gravity system working with 1 being the unit for Earth's gravity I divide the gravity of again each planets and their moons by 9.807.
Posivi  [author] 31 Jul, 2016 @ 7:42am
Just download SEToolbox and give it a look. It´s pretty self-explaining plus there a many guides online.
QuintusJ 31 Jul, 2016 @ 7:35am
And now I sound like Mordin Solus
QuintusJ 31 Jul, 2016 @ 7:35am
So yeah... very wrong
QuintusJ 31 Jul, 2016 @ 7:34am
How would I use SEToolbox. His Calculations appear to be wrong. The Diameter of the planets is 1:100. Realisticly it would be 1:1165.
Posivi  [author] 31 Jul, 2016 @ 7:29am
Haha dude chill.
This is probably what you are searching for:
http://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=557221393

If not, just try to create our solar system on your own. It´s really not that hard. Paste your prefered planets into a world, and edit their coordinates via SEToolbox.
QuintusJ 31 Jul, 2016 @ 7:25am
Fun fact Neptune's gravity converted to SE units would be 1.1 and it's diameter 42.3km. So yeah there's that.
QuintusJ 31 Jul, 2016 @ 7:20am
Hmm might have got the word wrong. Basically our solar system, such as neptune, mars, etc...
Already started research by the way.
Posivi  [author] 31 Jul, 2016 @ 7:13am
Link to SEToolbox: https://github.com/midspace/SEToolbox/releases/tag/v1.138.005.3

What you mean with "sol"? Even with google i couldn´t figure out what this should mean.
QuintusJ 31 Jul, 2016 @ 7:06am
If you want help I'll do some research and calculations.
QuintusJ 31 Jul, 2016 @ 7:02am
Oh and if you can include all the moons too.
QuintusJ 31 Jul, 2016 @ 7:02am
Can you make a version of this mod that simply contains Sol? I'm afraid I don't have the RAM to load this.
QuintusJ 30 Jul, 2016 @ 11:37pm
Can you send me a link to SEToolbox? I tried it once but all it did is break sh**.
Posivi  [author] 27 Jul, 2016 @ 12:20pm
@Doctor Octoganapus

Alright, thanks. I´m still hoping that those bugs won´t show up for me ;D
Doctor Octoganapus 26 Jul, 2016 @ 3:24pm
@Posivi After about 6000-8000km Ore rocks will default to only one ore (That happens if theres custom planets).

Second once you get out x-distance ore rocks, trees, and bushes start spawning offset which means they can be floating above ground or sunk very far into the ground.
Posivi  [author] 26 Jul, 2016 @ 2:08pm
@qwertybattle

Ye, you could use this tool to create those things, but you will have to do it yourself, sorry...i´m more into exploring planets than asteroids :P Good luck tho!

@Doctor Octoganapus

How exactly are the bugging? I didn´t see a bugged planet yet.
Great work on all those planets btw!!!
Doctor Octoganapus 26 Jul, 2016 @ 9:44am
Unfortunetly after about 40,000km planets start to bug out and become partly pointless to play on which is why I never released a world like this.
AzureAssaulter 26 Jul, 2016 @ 5:18am
maybe using that tool create some planetary rings as well as asteroid belts and kuiper belts and maybe even a couple of fields between system for resupply
Posivi  [author] 25 Jul, 2016 @ 3:57pm
@Juggernaut

It´s not really a solarsystem, since you can´t mod (several) suns into the game yet. So its basically just a groupings of planets, yes.
The distances between each solarsystem are roughly 50.000 km, which would take you 133 hours to travel at the speed of 104 m/s. Therefore i suggest either to use a speedmod or using the jumpdrive a lot...or both :P
For me the reason to visit other planets is to see what they look like. And because there are so many of them, i would send drones to each of them etc etc...

@qwertybattle

I just figured out that there is a simple method to create such asteroid fields.
You can use SE Toolbox for that. Just click on the "create"-button and pick "asteroid field".
AzureAssaulter 25 Jul, 2016 @ 2:37pm
i posted a request for an asteroid belt generator in the forums i'll let you know if anything comes of it
Juggernaut 25 Jul, 2016 @ 2:28pm
I'm curious if this has any bugs if the distances are really large? Also I assume that because there is only 1 sun used in the game that the 5 solar systems are just groupings of planets?

How far would you say the distances are?

I am like you and have been deciding if I should do this myself. One of my main concerns though is that I wish there was a reason to visit other planets because, perhaps, the one(s) nearest you don't have enough of the materials you need. Or maybe run a server full of people where 30 planets is a nice distance in between :D Probably just a dream.

Posivi  [author] 25 Jul, 2016 @ 12:37pm
I wanted to build a universe i don´t know by myself (by generating the planets-positions randomly), since i would have to place the asteroid/floating objects manually i wouldn´t have any fun exploring them - so..no manually pasted things, sorry. :)
AzureAssaulter 25 Jul, 2016 @ 12:27pm
there were people asking for something like this in the forums me included thanks but are there plenty of asteroids for example our solar system has the asteroid and the kuiper belt not to mention there are probably some floating around in deep space
