i have a easir way just go tag GER then go to controled territorys the release austria.:)

How to stay independent with Austria without mods/cheats:

- Play new game with austria and wait, until germany wants to unite.
- Then you have to say "Austria will not unite with germany".
- wait for about 1 day (not too long)
- make a new savegame.
- go to main menu and load this savegame but this time, change to german reich and load the save.
- invite austria to axe-faction.
- make a new savegame
- load this savegame with austria again.

now... germany has still the "right" to attack austria, but it will not do that, because you are now part of AXES. germany will lose the "right" to attack you in year 1941.

in my case, germany never attacked me.

Österreich-Ungarn muss nicht mal existieren. Allein mit Slovenien und Südtirol sieht das Land gut genug aus.

Umm, Slovakia is unrealistic, Perhaps an Austrian Hungarian allience though. This would be better as a Hungarian mod in which you can unite the country and gain cores on Czechoslovakia and Yugoslavia and Romania

The Mod is great, but i dont get why Austria-Hungary also gets cores on native romanian and yugoslavian territories, like muntenia or montenegro.
Also if i take the whole chechoslovachia germany does not continue his focus tree and just blocks trying to do the take sudetenland focus

Great mod, the concept that we have to conquer the states beyond Austria and Hungary is very realistic. But the addition of custom focus tree or even a few custom national spirits would make this mod x1000 times better. Also I think the leader portrait of Charles I would look better with a painting instead of a black and white photo, just to make him fit in with the leaders of the vanilla nations. You can find some nice, fitting portraits of Charles I on the internet. Nonetheless great mod; I'm looking forward to future updates.

I like the idea of the mod, but I must agree, a focus tree would make it much better! Still a great idea!

ugh another mod that considering the evidence from other mods could easily have its own focus mod by now and its just boring with a plain old vanilla focus tree. the mod is pointless mostly without it. in my opinion. i know many wont agree. but seriously push out a focus tree.

This looks like a promising mod! I'm eager to see a more historically accurate aspect to the traditional borders to include the Czech region as well. I am not a modder but let me know if you need any assistance and I can look into it!

pretty much both like most of the major factions models are not crucial but would be nice to have a different look but aye the mod atm is fantastic really enjoying my austro-hungarian campaign atm

What do you mean with Austrian bonuses exactly? Are you refering to a customised national focus for Austria or leader boni like other major powers have or both or?

one of my favourite mods out there right now but I was wondering if it any point you plan on adding austrian bonuses to make it more like a main faction

@AeneaS yeah the mod is awesome so far but uncomplete a bit. once the nation has the correct name (austria hungary instead of just austira) and the right flag (austria hungary flag instead of just austrian flag) id love to do a playthough with it and make it into an AAR.

Nette Idee, aber Name und Fahne fehlen. Auch Panzer und Flugzeuge Haben weder Foto noch Namen....

@Engellus Exactly! You are right that most of the neighbouring countries administrations would not have liked to re-unify without some changes in governemt or by force which could probably have resulted in some popular uprisings as well.
