If we can actually get into the swing of things and figure out some things that are stopping us, there's a slim chance it could be this year. Don't hold me to that, though.

Not being able to use the Arma 2 heads anymore has been a massive roadblock because as it turns out, the other options for generic male heads really suck.

There honestly isn't that much left to do, it's just finding the time and willpower to actually do it. I've actually suggested that we just wrap up what we've got and relegate the other features to updates/addons just in the interest of actually getting it released sometime this century.

They will be done at some point, but I can't really estimate when.

I am actually supposed to be helping with them, but unfortunately life has gotten in the way for pretty much everyone involved with it. Taggart's hard drive exploding hasn't helped, either.

We'll get them done eventually. It's still on our minds.

The reason you can't find them is because they haven't been finished. The ones in the pictures are a developmental build that I was given.

There's not really a Russian light machine gun that's a fair counterpart to the M249/Minimi. The RPD was developed, used and then ditched by Russia decades before the M249 was even thought of, and the RPK is just a heavier-duty AK platform more suited to sustained fire.

You might be thinking of the PKM/PKP, which is more of an equivalent to the M60 and M240 since those are all GPMGs. If you do actually mean HMGs, then those are weapons like the M2, DSHK, and Kord.

In terms of models, I'd like to port an RPD if I could find any decent quality models of them, I've got several RPKs in my upcoming AK pack, and I have plans to do PKMs and PKPs at a later date. I've ported the DSHKM from Metro 2033 which is in my Metro 2033 pack, and I intend to do a tripod-mounted M2 browning at some point as well.
