FN Minimi & M249 SAW PROPS

Description
THESE ARE JUST PROPS. THEY ARE NOT USABLE WEAPONS.

This pack contains an FN Minimi, FN Minimi Para, M249, M249 Para, tripod-mounted versions, and a number of props to go with them. All models are fully bodygrouped and rigged for use with the joint tool/SFM, the tripod-mounted versions are ragdolled, and some skins for the cloth mags are included.

Full contents list:

FN Minimi
FN Minimi Para

Tripod-mounted M249
FN Minimi/M249 Barrel
FN Minimi/M249 Ammo box
M2 Tripod
Single M27 Belt Link
10rd M27 Belt segment
30rd STANAG Magazine

All the guns have almost every movable part bodygrouped or rigged to the joint tool, including things like the bolt, charging handle, safety, ejection port, the barrel retainer latch, bipod, rear sight, buttplate, everything you could ever need. The top cover comes with an optional rail, and the dust cover on the side can be raised for when the charging handle is locked to the rear to avoid clipping.

Comes with three magazines/belt boxes, one hard plastic and two types of soft fabric belt containers. The fabric belt containers have OD, black, and camouflage skins. A bodygrouped and fully rigged 10rd belt segment is included, though it is a little awkward to pose with the joint tool. A single individual belt link is also included with a bodygrouped link and bullet.

The FN Minimi and M249 both include appropriate furniture, with bodygroups for the original style stock and the improved solid stock, as well as for railed or removed handguards. The bipods can be folded down, forwards, or removed entirely, and the barrels can be detached. Options for original ,fixed barrel handles and the improved, foldable handle are included. The heatshields seen on the later, improved M249s and Minimis can also be added.

The tripod-mounted versions are a little awkward to pose but I was unable to figue out why they were acting so heavy. They're not quite as bad as they were originally, but they may still be a little difficult to use. I reccomend the ragdoll mover.

Danger Close Games - Original Minimi models and textures.
Valve/Hidden Path Entertainment - Original M249 furniture and magazine.
Kali - Porting, adding bodygroups, rigging, etc.

I forget the name of the person who ripped the original models from the MOH:WF and I can't find the thread they were posted in, but If you're reading this, then thank you very much.

This is part of Kali's Mildly Underwhelming Christmas Release Thread 2015, which can be found here:

The maps used in the screenshots are from Black Mesa, Neotokyo, and gm_valley. The soldiers holding the guns are Taggart & Rusty's 1980s US troops.

If we can actually get into the swing of things and figure out some things that are stopping us, there's a slim chance it could be this year. Don't hold me to that, though.

Not being able to use the Arma 2 heads anymore has been a massive roadblock because as it turns out, the other options for generic male heads really suck.

aight ima try to wait till fucking 2030

There honestly isn't that much left to do, it's just finding the time and willpower to actually do it. I've actually suggested that we just wrap up what we've got and relegate the other features to updates/addons just in the interest of actually getting it released sometime this century.

They will be done at some point, but I can't really estimate when.

2030 well fuck

Probably sometime before 2030. That's about as good an estimate as I can give.

can you estimate when they will be done

I am actually supposed to be helping with them, but unfortunately life has gotten in the way for pretty much everyone involved with it. Taggart's hard drive exploding hasn't helped, either.

We'll get them done eventually. It's still on our minds.
