Playing as one men army, almost impossible do to anything without beeing surrounded by 100 enemys.. i can´t recommend this one.
He worked on the Remnants of War campaign BI released.
Regardless, fantastic work. Very well done and deserving of the awards it got.
Tips:
What helps is actually placing your mines effectively, by placing them strategically on entry points like the broken down walls of the town that the AAF can enter through rather than all of the mines on the road. This is quite obvious, but it does take some amount of thinking to make an effective mine field, so keep this in mind when you are placing mines always.
Place your manual explosives on the road directly ahead of the barricade that gets bombed by CAS jets. It helps when MBTs enter, and allows for you to either seriously damage a tank before it enters the range of the AI AT, or destroys it while keeping one of the IEDs available for future MBTs that enter the road.
A quick tip, for the love of god don't use the direct attack unless you have a direct line of sight onto the side or rear of the tank AND you are not trying to lock onto the tank. If you want to lock on the tank use top-attack, since it is overall simply better and you don't waste the only advantage of direct attack, which is the ability to manually guide the missile to weak points.
Here's how I did it:
I somehow got 2 of the AAF ones with the improvised explosives, by camping behind the barricades on each entrance and saving, then lighting the fuse and distracting the tanks by shooting at it and going back into cover. (I also was just not doing anything and seeing where the blast lands to adjust my timing when I go back to my old save, which was also an effective strategy.) The IEDs are really really strong, with a huge blast radius, so as long as you get it within like 10 meters or less of the barrel the MBT should die.
it put as a mod thus needs enabled in the mod list menu
