No seriously, i have long waited for it, i will tell you if i encounter problems.
Thanx again!
Go here to find your blueprints, the ? is where your profile name should be:
C:\Users\????\AppData\Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Blueprints\local
Open the folder of the creation you want to edit.
Find the picture named "thumb".
Edit that picture and save, make sure it is still called "thumb" and is a .PNG.
That's it I think, you have the restart the game to see it if you edit while SE is loaded.
Thanks in advance!
"No Mods, No Pistons, No Rotors, Survival Ready" - line 2 of description
Yeah, I wrote it but I never put it on the workshop b/c I have been busy. Feel free to copy it out of the Harbinger for your own use though. :)
Did you, by any chance, own the station? There are existing bugs with ownership and merges. Also the targeting algorithm of turrets seems to have changed, I'll look into it :)
@LoneWolf31322:
No worries :) The missiles (more like rods) are very basic :)
Crappy Diagram:
[Merge][Battery][Tip]
The "tip" can either be an armour block (for kinetic damage) or a warhead (for explosive damage). The batteries stop the rods from being deleted by auto trash cleanup :)
But I don't know how to use it, i've just donne a little bit of coding :(
Can you tell me what I have to put in the run argument?
If you can figure it out :P And as long as you credit me (Whiplash141), sure!
As you can see, im not 5URG3 but I'll address some of your questions :)
1) Yes it is possible but I do not believe that the toolbars are set up on the remotes
2) Hydrogen engines do not use much power but they use hydrogen fuel . This fuel is expended relatively quickly and, as such, should only be used when necessary :)
3) This is due to a long standing bug with projector ownership. Turn the gatlings off if you are going to fire the rods
4) The batteries were added to stop the projectiles from being removed by the "Trash Removal" setting. Without them, the projectiles would be automatically deleted by the game. Also the battery blocks serve as a budget decoy so that our kinetic rods will soak up most of the point defence fire :D
And radical mate! She can hover at 2.5 km above earth with only ions the last time I checked :)
I've justed tested this ship. I think it's amazing! However I have a few questions
1. Is it possible to remote control this ship? Like actually manuever it and fire it from a distance? I tried using the systems remote control but it didn't allow me to do anything.
2. You say keep the upwards hydrogen thrusters off to conserve fuel. However, when I turn them on power usage drops by about 8%. I am testing it in 1.0 gravity though.
3. It seems that when I give control of the ship to myself, the gatling guns will auto fire on the rods. If I don't do this however, the gatling guns won't target enemies. Am I doing something wrong?
4. Why do the rods have batteries? Do they need to be powered?
Btw, incase anyone is wondering. I am able to lift off this ship from earth (1.0 gravity, 0 metres) with the additional thrusters on. You don't have to be in space to build this ship, you could build it on land too
Great job guys!
