A good unusual effect for christmas i agree, the only problem i'm seeing is that it could be too flashy and reveal your location when around corners or while hiding. Other than that it's a great addition for TF2

The 9 mercs are randomized per-spawn like the skeletons in death by disco. Pauling and Hale are their own unique effects though.

So, how is this supposed to work? Is it the first Unusual particle effect with choices of styles? The merc figures all get brown trails, but Miss Pauling gets a purple and Saxton Hale gets a yellow trail?

t doesn't seem to be class-dependant, because
a) while the 4th picture shows a gingerbread-Heavy orbiting the Heavy's hat, the Demoman's hat in the 3rd picture has a gingerbread-Soldier(?) orbiting it. That's definitely not a gingerbread-Demoman, because the Demoman figure in the promo picture has a bite taken out of its head.
b) if it was class-dependant, where would Saxton Hale and Miss Pauling fit in.
