but it's not possible (I can't) to give a functions as you said unfortunately....(by a game systems)

Hi.
Is it possible to have a working version of this asset in both passenger and cargo versions?
So we could have a unique quay all the same, and see the ships come and go.

I only had the 'snap to road' version of the seawalls.
going in workshop and take the props version also.

I'm starting on the harbor and like the use your seawalls.
I placed them but I only see de topside of the seawall but not the part that goes into the water.

A lot of builders use the seawalls also and then everything looks complet.
The vertical part is only viseable from a distance.
Is there a soliton for this prblem.

well as I said it was the free from decoration version... it's only a part on the right which wall is missing, I have already built my harbor now and placed a 32m version pieces where wall is missing with help of road anarchy, it helps to place assets where normally you can't

Thanks for report, and sorry for inconvenienced with my asset.
I don't know why only one PROP is disappeared (it might a cause is by game update maybe), but I fixed it and re-uploaded now ;) Confirm it please ;)
To make sure, try to Un-Subscribe it once, and re-subscribe it PLEASE ;)

I downloaded the free from decoration prop but part of the wall right side is missing.
Please fix it and upload it as a workshop item. I tried to edit the decorated seawall but then all walls vanish.
Your seawalls are essential for harbors, some different corners in/out 45“ 35“ would be great. :)

hahaha, yes, I'm already added a dependencies work(for popup message), If you didn't have any popup message, a cause was an issue of WorkShop or Steam ;)
WorkShop has some issue(problem) in sometime, so the Overconfidence is prohibited ;) (lol) Thank you and hope you can enjoy my walls ;)

Did you subscribe a PROP too ? My all of walls must be subscribed an ASSET and PROP in same time ;)
If you already done, try to unsubscribe only PROP once, and re-subscribe it then confirme in a game please ;)

i really like these walls on screenshots. but i only see the topside of the wall. not the wall it self, i think its a glitch or somthing.

Yes, I placed some PROPs for an industry seaport(for decolated)
I know some users are not like them, so I uploaded a None PROP verison about an Option as well. (Link in a description above)
Use it if you need pls ;)

Just subscribed to this seawall and popped it open in my game. It came up showing the little brown things on the edges of the wall, but also it had a lot of parking spaces twisted every which way in it and stacks of what looked like wooden boxes on the back of the walkway......didn't look anything like your photo....kind of like industrial leftovers on a walkway.....????? Not a problem, I just unsubscribed, but thought you might like a heads-up on the problem in case I'm not the only one. No need to answer me - just wanted to let you know what I was seeing.

I tried to test with some asset, I could notice one thing ;)
This game system is NOT FULL SUPPORTED for a part under groud line.
That strange LOD is appeared in ONLY a part under ground-line.
(no issue in a part in higher ground-line like a nomal buildings)

LOD which is we make, it's refrected it to LDO at far 1,000m or and more if even given UV-Mapping correctly. We can not control it in middle-far distance. (Property name : m_minLodDistance = xxx)

I thought that a cause is too old "3dsmax7" might be at first, but as Turjan reported, other works have same issue too somehow.
k, I'll more test with some models when I have time and report again ;)

@Turjan and @Mas71 > Guys I believe the LOD issue may be related to the UVmap coordinates for that LOD level. The games texture baking system requires a custom UV map with correct coordinates for each LOD level. If that LOD level has no UVmap, or a incorrectly scaled UV map. Then the texture will appear blurry.

Thanks for the detailed explanation. You are right, the game has some unfortunate limitations in this regard. I'm also using these walls , which are made the same way (asset+prop), and they have principally the same issue, though less noticeable, as they use a very uniform color tone throughout. They also have the issue with trees as props, which is one other of the game limitations.

As to your walls, I noticed that the "bright glow" effect is not present if they face north (no sun hitting them). I will probably try that next.

I don't know that all of Asset(others made) having same issu, because no much Asset which used same method of mine are there in Workshop :P

You can know that un-controllable-LOD appered at step of 500 - 850m,
This LOD is made automatically by C:SL game system maybe, It's interfered with LOD and PROPs.

I don't know why this strange LOD was made, and I don't know how to control a properties for these distance......
We confirmed each numbers with MOD-Tool, however we are NOT able to change these manually, its never changed if input any numerical value.

Also, as you wanted me to check the other walls, the picture I posted used both, 128m and 32m walls. The effect kicks in at closer distances for 32m walls, as you would expect from a smaller item.

Thank you for the quick answer. I guess we are talking past each other, as I see the same thing in your images, just more regular because of your tilted angle (I had the camera straight at the wall) and with less direct sun. It probably has to do with the 4 different props that you mention, is mostly very noticeable when the sun shines on the wall. I was referring to the different views with distance:

close view: very pretty grid pattern with color flow, top bright, bottom dark
further out: grid pattern nearly without color flow, nearly all bright.
even further out: plain face nearly without grid, all bright
farthest LOD : back to color flow, top bright, bottom dark

So the farthest view looks very similar to the closest, but the two in between look far brighter. It's hardly noticeable with the sun coming from the direction of view, but very strong when the sun shines at the wall. I can only assume that it's hard to find the right color balance here.

Is this issue is in only 128m-vesion? It having 4 kind of PROP same as 32m-verison.
Could you un-subscribe and re-subscribe an Asset which have an issue just be sure ;)

Dear Mas71, thanks a lot for bringing your walls to CSL. These seawalls look very nice. The close view is excellent, the far LOD is also good, but I get a very checkered effect at intermediate distances:
