The "problem" with the skin was that it was using a lot of wera/tear etc. BUt also using PBR material. it wsn't untill I started on the grineer stuff that I found a solution that would still give it that worn feel, without artifacting to bad.
Nice work btw as I have said before.
On my 'to buy' list when I get back into warframe properly ;o)
Thanks, yes, there's artifacts that seems to be caused by compression I'v reached out to DE to see if theres anything that can be done about this, havent heard back from them yet though, but im gonna chase.

I wonder if the color saturation has to do with mine using PBR and the original not?.
The tennogen tool is whoefully inept at showing the "real" enviorment with all the bloom and whatnot. Ill see if I get the time to logon tomorow and have a view, in theory it should really only be about balancing the diffuse base color.
Did it come with the helmet aswell btw?
One issue has become apparent though, the colours completely mismatch what other armour pieces show them as ingame. There was no real way of telling beforehand, but your skin has a much higher colour saturation than the regular Volt skin.
I agree with the prime thing. I hope that I get a chance to do a little ''prime addition' or something. on the grand scheme of things its a tiny bit of work and would make a massive difference. Especially since volt prime is such an uppgrade.
The grineer style was there in my head atleast, I started there but got more and more cuved and refined as I went on. I think the end result got a certain grineer factor in choice of material but not in shape language.
appreciate the feedback, thanks a lot.
I feel as if I was unfairly stuck on something, and didn't give a proper critique.
I also feel as if I took the whole matter a bit too personally.
I like the skin, it's definitely a lot better than most of the work being uploaded.
I wouldn't use it myself, but that's only because I tend to only use prime variants.
I still feel the resemblance to iron mans iconic arc reactor is there, but I'm glad you took away 2 of the 3 similarities. It lessons the likeness dramatically.
I now realize that your maps are actually good as well.
I think this skin adds a nice refresh to what I consider one of the most desperately bland skins in the game at the moment. The emissives arent overpowering either.
I don't see the grineer style at all, but I like what you've done with his helmet the most.
Don't mind them, your work is amazing. They all can go and fuck each other in their ignorant arses.
Some are just so salty because they can't even dream to do something so decent.
Now we wait and see.
I don't know the formats or the newest locations of his stuff, but since the Prime attachments are added on top of the base model, I wonder if it is possible to manually import them.
@DJ Mattam, thanks!, I personally don't worry about it at all, there are other people who seem to worry for me;)
