is it necessary to use terraform 0.9? can I use bloody pinguin terraform instead? or is it OK to have two of those?

Hi! I have tried for hours and hours to get this to work. The only issue i have is when i am going to flatten the terrain around the trench, it just levels the trench once the terrain gets under the trenches. Have you any tips/experience with this? I need this in my City! :-p

The open trench part was easy. Getting the end tunnels to completely cover the ingame tunnel transition took me a while (many, many redos) to get right.

@Thrillhouse You do need to make use of a mix of terraforming tools, anarchy tools and move it in order to make proper use of assets like this one.

Not sure if it's because of MT or what, but since I started playing again after getting MT I can't seem to place rails that actually sit on top of the asset, they always go underneath, so do the roads that I use to set it up after I place this. Is there any chance you could make this as a prop or at least remove the roadside requirement so that I can lower it with move it?

I agree with agamemnicon! could you please make e free ploppable version. So actually a PROP version so we can use the 'prop line tool' to make long trenches easily

Hey Agamemnicon, thanks! Afaik, it's only possible to change placement style in the asset editor using mod tools: https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=429744078 These are currently set to roadside because it makes it more easy to align them, but you would be looking for the OnGround option...

@GCVos I love these, thank you for making them. And also making me aware of the awesome project in real life.

My question is though, since I have a complicated network already in place, and I use Move It a lot, is it possible to remove the road-snapping requirement of this prop? I'm not necessarily asking you to release another version that is free-ploppable, but I'm wondering if I could do it with the asset editor. I really want to use these, but I can only imagine the hours and hours it would take to demolish, rebuild, and reorganize my rail lines, so I'd love to just plop these wherever and then use Move It to adjust. Just thought I'd ask.

@Niemand Use no seagulls mod to remove annoying seagulls. That train sound I assume it is related with this asset it is like when you click on your train station you will hear train sounds even though no train is there. It is something similiar like farms you hear pig and cow sounds but no animals here just empty field. Lower your sounds (I think it is effect or ambient something different than master volume which lowers volume for whole game).

yeah I think you're correct, but I figured it was worth letting you know. There must be some commonality being that only some assets have the lod issue tho. Im sure over on github someone will find a solution at some point, its a really great idea to share textures/materials/mesh, the game will be loads faster.

I've seen that issue pop up with a lot of assets and buildings and only with the Loading Screen Mod. I don't think I can do anything to fix that.

FYI, I noticed these awesome assets are one of the few that has an lod conflict with the new game loading mod, its probably just a naming thing (but i dunno), your lod texture gets swapped out with the vanilla window reflection graphic. This only happens if turning on the texture/material sharing settings in the Loading Screen Mod, Im leaving that setting disabled for now but just wanted you to know.

Have you considered making these into a prop so they can be placed freely with the More Beautification mod? I also think they'd look terrific for highway overpasses

I wasn't planning to do curves no because they will create collision/alignment/viewing angle issues. Issues I would rather avoid entirely.

The assets were moved to fix compatibility with Extra Landscaping Tools. I would prefer them sitting in Decoration though.

@Sepij - The curve is a problem yes, but try to look at it as a patturn. Make your 45 degree curves as 4 unit by 4 unit and the way the walls curve together makes it look almost like a barn end. Pretty cool actually.

I am currently having game load issues otherwise I would post up a pic of it for you to see on my image Steam folder.

@sepij - The problem with that approach is that you can't pick and choose specific assets. If you unsubscribe to one item in the pack, the whole pack is removed. Publishing them individually allows users to customize and only get what they need/want :)

i dont now if you already know this but when you place a asset and click on update you can put more than one crp file inside that folder so you can make a railwaypack for sunkenrail on workshop

That's hard for me to answer, I can't know what mods you have. But most assets don't crash your game by themselves.

after i add this mod and its required mods, skylines crashes on startup at the paradox interactive screen... Im not saying its your mod cuasing it, but maybe its conflciting with a mod i already have??

BloodyPenguin probably has to change the way his mod selects the tree tab in the parks menu if more assets are placed in this new tab. But I'm not entirely sure who is supposed to do what in this case.

Maybe you can place the asset in the transport menu instead of parks? Shroomblaze did that with his new parking lot and it works apparently.

i just realized this asset breaks the tree brush tool from the Extra Landscaping mod, because this asset creates a new category :( have to unsub from the train assets until a solution is found. Tree brush is too essential.

I think you might want to ask Lazarus but I'm guessing it could work for anything. I haven't built any network meshes myself (yet) though. Train would probably make more sense I'm not sure if you can mod stuff onto metro?
