i downloaded this mod, ran it, says 0 phantom lanes detected yet I can't build more roads. Help!

Can you update it? I tryed it and something went wrong, all building wasn't receiving any heat/ power or water making a big mess + there was an error but it was empty

Hello, I have to much "Net Nodes" but what is that? What do I have to remove in my city to restore it?

I am having the same issue as @Future. When the game loads, the PLR box is completely blank except for the button to close the box.

Also, neither the original key binding nor the alternate keybinding nor any other keybinding I set in the config file open the box. Nothing happens. I have made sure that there are not other mods using the same keybinding, too.

For me it's the same. Seems to be completely broken as of Airports DLC. I will try "Broken Nodes Detector" now. Seems to have similar functionality.

I have 96.000 residents. But also in the same time I have 524287 citizen units.
I run this mod when loading game - but can't delete any citizen units.. When building RICO buildings the show up as 0/0 households and ships and planes are clocking up all over with 0 passengers... anybody have a suggestion??

Hmm, my perspective: I have an 700k city with 81 tiles. When i had to use this mod, it only detected 16 unused phantoms. Like, i have in a total around 36000 using phantoms in the game.

If my used phantoms are at such an high number, there has to be more unused of this panthoms! Unfortunately so far as i know it doesn't show anymore..

But the mod still works fine, he don't crashes the rest of my game :)

This doesn't seem to work anymore. At least according to lanes overlay in TMPE, i got bunch of phantom lanes but this mod does nothing to remove them.

Can something similar to this be used to detect nodes with no segments? Sometimes it seems like removing roads leave the nodes still there (yes, heavily modded :)).

I had this problem, but the mod didn't find it. Why?I t was this building http://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=409928513&searchtext=better+school+high It set aside 150,000 citizen units, no I'm not kidding! I still have a count of 355,000 citizen units. It would be great if you added the possibility to list the buildings and their demand for citizen units, maybe not all, if it's too much, but everyone above a limit, which probably should be quite low. Thanks for the mod, without it I never would have thought of this, and wouldn't have been able to free up another 20,000 or so citizen units. :steamhappy:

@lerougephillippe - I'd track down what mod or actions might be triggering the phantom lanes in question. Are PL's accturally found\cleaned though by this mod? If after cleaning them and saving, do they immediately start clmbing again without you doing anything? Also if you save and stop after cleaning and reload that save do they all come back up on reload or shortly there after without touching anything? I'd also make sure you're using most up to date copies\version of all mods. One the early versions of a transporation related mod was known to trigger these when you modified an intersection a certain way for example.

@Garyhon - This mod has nothing to do with increasing limits. This mod is about removing phantom lanes being marked as used when they actually are not, so if you've hit the lane-limit it might help you because few people hit it legitimately.
btw the segment limit is 36864, it's the nodes that are still 32k. (that was upped around game version v 1.4 I think)

@war4sure you can change the binding in the config file (PhantomLaneRemover_Config.xml in the root of the games install folder under steam folders).
Change:
<UseAlternateKeyBinding>true</UseAlternateKeyBinding>
<AlternateKeyBindingCode>LeftControl,LeftAlt,P</AlternateKeyBindingCode>
To whatever you want, the above is what I use in my config - should work for you if the above is not already used in other bindings.

Can you add the ability to bring up the menu manually. When you have Show Limit mod it's almost impossible to bring the phantom remover window because it ended up bringing Show Limit instead(and yes I tried everything,that's why I'm complaining)

@Surf2explore. No those are very like not phantom lanes. You can check though, installing this and running the check will not harm anything, worst case just unsub after it says you have no phantom lanes.

Thanks for this. After the patch i had to recreate all my public transport lines. No biggie, but i have also some lines that are showing but can not be altered and / or changed. Are these Phantom lines or do i need another mod for this ?

i am recieving an error in my city "Method not found: 'NetNodeInstanceGuide.Activate'. [System.MissingMethodException]

In fact even though I "updated" for 1.7, it didn't need anything. I only have one map left to test it on and that one worked ok detecting and removing phantom lanes, I don't have samples anymore of citizen\citizen unit phantoms so couldn't test but nothing changed in CO code that could see that would impact this.

Works fine with 1.7.0 and Mass Transit, as far as I can tell. Haven't been able to test if it actually removes anything (no phantom lanes in a new city) but it doesn't throw any errors, and the detection gives an accurate 0. :)

I did, but maybe too fast if you're answering so. I've seen how to remove, what this mod does, but not the definition, anyway after looking for some more information, I found that this mod wouldn't help me now, I have another kind of problem ^^
