BUG - My runway is 230units long, absolutely straight and plain, and he departs at low altitude, correctly, but get out of the runaway shorter like vanilla planes. :/
Should i enlarge the runway even more?

@GamerFrog this was intended to be part of a very long collection of vehicles made by me. I will be back soon. If you want default values, you just can modify the values with AVO.

it is ok if you create an object what works with realistic but the game-original-airport isn't so big. should a creator make an own world in a game or should an object work with other ORIGIN-objects together? it is not a bad comment every can do what every want itself.
Balthoraz  [author] 22 Jun, 2016 @ 8:31am
@GamerFrog because my plane have a realistic operation configuration. It is explained on the description and on the video you can see how long is the runway.

Other peoples work are working with default settings.

all learjets start and land good, all boing do the same, all airbus do the same. one plane "lufthansa A380" do like a terrorist and fly from the sky direct into the airport and turn in the ground to the sky and come back
GamerFrog 22 Jun, 2016 @ 6:23am
and why all other planes fly right?
Balthoraz  [author] 21 Jun, 2016 @ 6:31am
@GamerFrog that's because your runway do not meet the plane specification distances.
This is a realistic version, so you need 214 tiles for Takeoff and 125 tiles for Landing.
GamerFrog 21 Jun, 2016 @ 2:39am
see also the problem with none-take-off and after a build-crossing this plane go in the air. the airport was far far away.

For some reason this plane wont take off, it just leaves the city driving along the ground.

anychance we could get a prop version of this plane please?
pbilk 11 Oct, 2015 @ 2:42pm
Great to know. Thank you. :)
Balthoraz  [author] 11 Oct, 2015 @ 12:39pm
Yes pbilk. I have the Airport Roads mod, the airport on the video have 600 squares lenght (around 4.800 meters).
pbilk 11 Oct, 2015 @ 10:40am
In the video are you using the airports road mod?

I see your point - your acceleration looks really cool I gotta say - I'll investigate in this further more.

I think you should move the landing gear more away from the planes center:

For the windows: It's not complicated to make those at all - You only have to create a texture file in all black colors (0, 0, 0) and only apply to the windows full white color (255, 255, 255) - If your difuse map is only white and black you can simply invert it and paint all areas without reflections black. I'm kinda busy with my own projects atm.

Thank you for the hint :)

That's not true Delta, you just find the level between top speed, acceleration and brakes. With that values playing with them, the plane do not have to do circles. I found a proublem with really high speeds, and is that they go too fast from the taxiway and do not follow at 100% the taxiway. So I think, at more than 380 Km/h is really bad to make them.

If the plane do circles at the end of runway, is because one of those values is not compensated with the other values.
One hint. If you are looking for a realistic appearance (like me). Braking value have to be bigger than acceleration value ;)

About the plane windows, I do not made them, that was a work by Svenpotsdam who helped me. If you want to contribute, add me on Steam.
[Delta ²k5] 4 Oct, 2015 @ 4:17pm
don't go lower than the following values: Turn: 0.001, Acceleration: 1.5, Braking: 0.3 - otherwise the plane will circle above the runway ;) For my small planes I use also Lean == 0.3 and Nod == 0.2. The rest stays default :) - I testet all values by time and those are the lowest ones allowed by the games dynamics.

Btw. thank you for the hint, but that wasn't the reason why the light won't show up (in game). It's caused by some vehicle asset editor bug (I cannot add Light #6 to a already existing asset, it only appears when starting a new asset from the default plane and altering its values)

Another tip: make the windows some kind of gold/brown on the diffuse map and add a specular map with full white painting for the windows - this should create some nice goldish reflections at daytime ;)
Balthoraz  [author] 4 Oct, 2015 @ 7:34am
@Shaggyninja if you are using the default taxi/runway, the plane have custom values so it may fail. You need a larger runway. I will check it myself in a longer runway to see if it still failing. (Maybe the values are bad)

@Delta the Position #6 is the landing light. It is not showing on the asset editor so you need to get the position placing other light, then adding those values to that light and move the other light to its original position.
GordonDry 4 Oct, 2015 @ 6:17am
@Shaggyninjy: same to me, I was not sure if it was my self-built runway / taxiway or the changed acceleration / braking values...
[Delta ²k5] 4 Oct, 2015 @ 6:13am
May I ask how you get the landing light working? In my case light #6 doesn't show up... :(
Shaggyninja 4 Oct, 2015 @ 5:08am
The things rolls around on the tarmack, doesn't actually taxi.
SoJiro 3 Oct, 2015 @ 3:06pm
Well done ;)
