Sensor is busted now. Cannot detect the grids it is placed/connected to. Cannot prevent friendly fire to the ship the turret is placed on with out sacrificing huge fire arc. Test in my survival and in your showcase. Not the mod/scripts fault. I presume a change from Space Engineers game itself. Everyone was crying about their sensors detecting their own ship.

Does this work for vanilla?

I am using your Mk3 version for a vanilla ship and have everything running. Well almost... the turrets I built will not lineup and converge with the vector line of my cursor at the 800m that I have told the script to automatically converge at. The turrets I built also sway around the general area i am pointing at but never converge with the vector of my self built director turret. I set up the "Text panel warning" (highly useful and I give you a round of applause for it) in the very beginning to aid in the implimenting of the script on my ship. The panel read that there are no warninging and that everything is good to go. Yes I have been playing with the "True" and "False" in the first few lines of described code.
