It's awesome to see all these kingdoms converting to Christianity, and I feel it would make both gameplay and historical sense to have the Roman Church survive as the state dies around it.
Nsheon, yes I agree with you about the monasteries, they were a big deal in Irish history too. I'll update with a buff for them as soon as I can.
I think, for the WRE at least, giving osmosis to churches renders the monastery chain somewhat useless. Sanitation is so easy to take care of from other sources (for most factions honestly, not just WRE), especially given that monasteries only give sanitation to the capital. I agree that all the buildings should have osmosis, but personally I enjoy the monastery chain for flavor as well
