lol i agree, at the time i thought this was a cool idea. but looking back, this was just silly. cant believe its been about 9 years now. it was a bit of an experiment to try one of my first big mods, at the time there werent all that many common infected mods. i am surprised it still works for the most part.

the models are great. they could make skins for the survivors

they look like Humans being controled or something and they should be half grey and green to look like a zombie and blood on the chest to be honest too. still looks good you know but kinda it is the but armor i like that too you did good helmets good there all good set one thing the skin and the eyes.

Yep. L4D1 infected now use their original models as per TLS update.

Look at the date on the mod, its super outdated. The common infected have been ravamped since i worked on this so i think this mod is broken.

why only the l4d2 model has been replaced,and the l4d1 zombie model has not changed

The new update probably broke it. I don't mod much anymore, so it's probably not gonna get fixed.

the mod does not work properly, i have used it and when i played the no mercy level ive seen l4d1 soldiers turned into those of mw2. however in the next levels they dissapeared and ive got stuck with the same boring gearless soldier, any ideas on whats wrong?

I made this a long time ago, when I was starting modding. And I made it because there weren't too many CI mods on the workshop. But I am working on actually overhalling this mod now, but it's gonna take a while

Maybe cover them in blood or something to make them more "zombie-ish", because they look more human than undead.

Alright, I'll address a few things, just please STOP YELLING AT ME TO DO THINGS.
I have tried making more common infected addons, including some actual zombies but the problem is, if they aren't ALL the same model or base model like these ones, the ragdolls get REALLY wonky. They start to morph in weird ways and their shadows turn into squares. So for that reason, I'm not making more common infected mods.
And for the same reasons, I'm not making these guys replace only some of the infected. If they don't replace all of them, the ragdolls freak out. I have no idea what causes it, and it seems most of the modding community doesn't either.
