Any chance you could update the required item list?
Modern Lightning Pack: Liberated has been created and no longer requires the Network Skins mod.

Beautiful Asset, but 37,000 tris? OMG. Cant spare that hp in fps. Its more than any monster custom skyscraper asset. Bring it down to 15,000 and maybe.

40mb for one asset. *facepalm*
SonOfNitrous 26 Apr, 2016 @ 12:24pm
Сool building but what a huge filesize =\
Densin 12 Apr, 2016 @ 9:42am
Awesome job, Kollati, great to see this wonderful building being updated, it's one of my all time favorites!
Mars 7 Apr, 2016 @ 2:18pm
Awesome, thank you Kollati!
Kollati  [author] 7 Apr, 2016 @ 2:17pm
Updated, no more error.
Texture still needs a bit work...
Mars 7 Apr, 2016 @ 1:26pm
@Kollati - awesome news! Cant wait :)
tony_r_68 (Zed68) 7 Apr, 2016 @ 10:12am
Good to hear !! You really should consider reducing the texture maps sizes a lot for both the main model and the lod. There is quite a lot of free space in your maps, and such a huge resolution is not needed. The main model could be perfectly ok with a 2048*1024 and the LOD with a 1024*512 or a 512*512 maybe. Having a correct filesize for the asset would make it much more popular than it is.
Good luck on the LOD, I hope you'll go for more optimization instead of cutting stuff (which was sad, considering how good looking this power plant is).
Kollati  [author] 7 Apr, 2016 @ 9:41am
Working on it.
tony_r_68 (Zed68) 7 Apr, 2016 @ 7:50am
Of course I would give you credit if I did it.
tony_r_68 (Zed68) 7 Apr, 2016 @ 6:52am
Hi !! As many others have already noted, the lod you used before (wich was far too heavy at the time already) is now blocking this asset from working properly.
Do you have any plans on updating this one ? (I have seen you updated the other Power plant).
Do you eventually plan to make it a bit lighter ?
If not, would you mind me using your geometry as a starting point for creating a lighter version ?

Pls update, I love this power station!

Great model. Any chance of updating it for snowfall and get rid of the error? And maybe tweak the stats a little as the output and upkeep ratio is too low. It's more effective to build the vanilla Nuclear reactor.
Allianz4000 8 Mar, 2016 @ 3:48pm
PLS update this great powerplant!

TOO MANY VERTECIES
Mandari 18 Feb, 2016 @ 10:54pm
i agree with previous post, hopefully it gets updated for snowfall
Severon 18 Feb, 2016 @ 2:18pm
I really like this building, but it's a great a shame its now throwing up errors on load.
This building is perfect. It has a decent sized footprint which an Oil Power Station should be large. The small sized default power stations are really pathetic. Not just that, but this actually looks like a power station and not a futuristic looking building like the default one.
Please, I implore you to take a look at updating this asset, or allow someone to fix it.
Much appreciateted.
Borklund 18 Feb, 2016 @ 12:03pm
Crying shame to see that this still hasn't been updated. Now broken further in Snowfall (error message on loading in to a map, "LOD has too many vertices"). Would love to see an update!

after dark please!

Are you still planning on updating for After Dark? Thanks!
Densin 27 Sep, 2015 @ 1:05pm
A cool! I was just wondering, great to hear :)
Kollati  [author] 27 Sep, 2015 @ 11:14am
I still have plans, I just dont had time in summer
Densin 27 Sep, 2015 @ 2:30am
@Kollati Do you have any plans for an After Dark update? I'd love to see what this looks like at night with some lights! Also, do you still have plans to release any other power plants?
Soviet Sanvich 22 Jun, 2015 @ 5:06am
Please trim down the LOD if possible. In "Mesh Info" it has an LOD of around 40.00, a normal models LOD would be 2.00
Dahak 14 Jun, 2015 @ 12:13am
@Minister Kosh: Upkeep isn't extreme really. Coal and Oil powerplants are VASTLY more expensive to operate than solar, wind or hydro plants. Main reason is the trainloads of fuel delivered almost constantly. A larger coal plant will burn multiple mile-long train loads worth of coal every week for example. Coal/oil plants should be significantly cheaper to build than an equivalent wattage of wind/solar, but once built they should have significantly higher maintenance costs. Solar in particular is increadibly cheap after the plants are built.
Dr. LeFaucheur 22 May, 2015 @ 6:59am
I LOVE your power plants, the water consumption makes it much more realistic too! If you plan on it, I look forward to seeing a Nuclear Power Plant from you.
Minister Kosh 27 Apr, 2015 @ 12:50pm
looks very nice, but why the extreme upkeep? Is there any reason for this?
Blackkatt 26 Apr, 2015 @ 4:57am
very good looking, THX!
Densin 16 Apr, 2015 @ 7:53am
Hey Kollati, once again thanks for taking the time. I did what you said and even made sure that it was removed from the game by booting the game and checking the power tab (needless to say it was nowhere to be found). After putting it back in and placing 2 of them, I'm sad to say that the problem I'm having with it is still apparent.

edit: Okay, I've found something, if there's just one of the oil power plants, it doesn't disappear at all, however, the second there's another close by, the plants disappear as they switch to closer models or something? If I place another further way they both stay no matter what, so perhaps it has to do with LOD switching? I'm not sure, I am just a user after all, but the least I can do is pinpoint when the problem occurs.
Kollati  [author] 15 Apr, 2015 @ 10:21pm
Looks like you have an old version, please delete it, unsubscribe and subscribe again. I think this will sove your problem.
Densin 15 Apr, 2015 @ 3:03pm
Yep I'll get right on it. http://imgur.com/a/F6vlg Here's an album, I tried to best show and describe the issue that I have. Thank you for taking the time to take a look at it.
Kollati  [author] 15 Apr, 2015 @ 2:25pm
Can you upload some pics somewhere? I cant reproduce this problem on my computer.
Densin 15 Apr, 2015 @ 10:32am
Hey Kollati, for some reason the plant disappears under certain angles and when they're at the edge of the screen. Also when I zoom out it suddenly disappears and then pops back in when I'm zoomed out further. Have you seen anything like that happening? And if not, any idea what might be causing it?

Other than that, I love your models, they give the feeling of actually being powerplants! I can't wait to see what other plants you've got in store for us!
