The green one is Cavester, he glows in the dark <3 I tried my hardest to color him to look like a glowstick and the eyebone is in fact a glowstick

big daddy is also the fastest chester, when i think you intended him to be the slowest.

Thanks two point, I've found where the graphical issues are, apparently when DST did their major overhaul to add in boats, they added one piece of Chesters body which essentially just turned him invisible at a specific angle. I need time to go through each of my chesters to fix that on top of Big Daddy's inventory (again).

mod works perfectly except a couple graphical issues. Big daddy's inventory and body (not legs) goes invis. and blusters body goes invis sometimes too. But other than that, i still love and use the mod. thanks!

You guys keep saying need update but I have not experienced any reason to provide an update other than one graphical issue that I have not had time for to fix. What is the reason for the complaints? I was very vlear if you have an error I need the log.

@julie awe thanks!!! I absolutely love this game, and honestly wouldn't feel right if I couldn't play with the chester family at all. I just hope that the ongoing issue with the animations is figured out since it's not the animation itself but how DST's compiler breaks it. I'm hoping some coworkers of mine will have time to sit down and help me maybe come up with a better compiler for the game but I'm not sure honestly where to go from here for this because it's such a mess.

Just want to tell you Thank You for continuing to update! I love this and would miss veery much if it stopped working.

Also officially Afetogbo is retired, and will no longer be working on this mod. He stepped down from it a long time ago, but I finally removed him from being a moderator due to him not actively working on the mod or even playing DST in general.

Small update on me because I'm really hoping to take the time to update and fix a few things.

I quit my old job because my hours got drastically cut, yet I still had basically no time for anything because of all the driving around I had to do. I got hired by my ISP as tech support meaning I should be able to switch to work from home later in 2023. Before I start my new job my plan is to sit down and FINALLY fix the chester family files animations, and big daddy's inventory slots not being nearly as many as they used to. I have the old files from before, it should be a simple fix since I originally got it up and running and fixed once before but appaarently when I patched the mod I forgot to change the patch in my haste to fix a bigger problem.

@Gen Both the overworld and the caves spawn their own copies of the chesters respectively. This is intended since even vanilla chester does not go into the caves with you. As for Big Daddy, I am working on that fix. It's the result of me fixing so the chesters can go on boats but thanks for the reminder. I'll have a work from home job starting up soon so Im hoping to have more time to work on the chesters.

@MysticMother Dubster is treated like a pinata. Kill him and you actually will get candy that he drops when he dies. Originally Dubster had lots more forms but as of lately I had to change it so he has one form and drops halloween and christmas candy from the vanilla events.

You mentioned invincible chester mod defeating the purpose of dubster. what does dubster do exactly?

Big Daddy used to have 24 slots for me before but now he only has 12 like all the other chesters?

Also I found Bluster in the caves but for some reason his eyebone would not come with me to the overworld as it would just drop out of my inventory the moment I try to go back up to the overworld. If I spawn his eyebone in on the overworld, would that help him teleport to me?

The morphs last until the chester dies. Then you must morph them again once they respawn. It's how vanilla chester works as well

@Yami they all spawn, you may have to check the islands you can sail to because I am finding they also spawn on those too.

Does the whole family spawn in the world? I have 3 worlds I'm currently using this mod on, only found Stovester in one and Dubster in two of them but I have the maps fully fleshed out. I thought maybe there's a limit on how many of the family spawn in a world and it's random which ones are chosen.

@Sienna he cooks and keeps you warm like a fire. He doesn't work like a crockpot since I literally ccan't figure out that code at all no matter what I try sadly. Just move food over him the same way you would cooking over a fire.

Hey does Stovester actually do anything like cooking or something? I may be missing how he works somewhere.

@dean I'm aware of this issue, it's a bug with the actual animations. I have to tear apart my animations and redo them from scratch which I haven't had the time for.

Cant seem to get Bluster morphed into Ice Bluster. Ive put the 9 blue gems in, waited for a full moon and nothing. Is it me? Am I the Drama?

Yeah the angles has been an issue in the past with previous versions as well. I'm positive it's the animation program not compiling it properly, which means I get the fun chore of going through and redoing them (for the billionth time). I'll sit down and probably do that when my hours at work slow down.

Hi kooky112, firstly, thank you for creating this mod, I think it's a wonderful concept.

My friend and I are playing with the mod, and Chester's family members seem to disappear when viewed from certain angles. My friend hypothesises that this might be due to Klei having added some viewing angles, which now your mod has no textures for? If you have the time to take a look into it I'd be most appreciative, as I really like the mod, but disappearing models do affect immersion a little :)

@aiko after looking into it, it adds in extra slots to chester and other storage items. I can't really make it 100% work with my mod because my mod already changes how many slots of storage are in some of my chester family members. I DO however use a different mod that maybe you might find just as useful (if not more useful).

there is the direct link to the mod, it still works, and I highly recommend finding Bigdaddy chester for a fairly large storage increase. He walks slower but thats to help balance out the fact he's got such a large inventory. The next mod I recommend looking into getting is the storage cellar mod which also still works.

I'll look into it, otherwise I think I use a different mod that does basically the same thing but imo better... Then again Im a softy for older mods that have been around since beta as well.
