Hello, is this mod still being supported? I have a version of this mod with a fix for the inability to haunt life giving amulets that others craft for you away from your vicinity that I would like to publish (it's a very simple edit of the code, less than 1 line). I wanted permission to publish this mod; if the answer is no, I completely understand.

I know the intention is to prevent burnable objects from catching on fire from being haunted, but the current line of code implemented prevents anything that can catch on fire at all from being haunted, even if said object would never catch fire from being haunted, which basically means that haunting 90% of objects has been completely disabled.

If it helps any the PigKingCraft(PvP) mod has firestaff protection around the Pigking bases it uses. Maybe it would be as simple as adding a few lines of code for you Isosurface? I want to help, I hope this helps.

@Isosurface, People are threatening to start wars with firestaffs in my DST world. It's actually become a well-known bug. Please if you can this is the only thing that truly breaks my world from having it function the way I intended it to. For relaxing gameplay casual social sessions. Please help if you have time.

Fortify buildings doesnt work against a Fire Staff user. Someone torched all of my signs on my server with a Fire Staff recently.

Ah I've found a solution, I went into the modmain.lua file, found the haunting code, and erased it! Now things work fine, now haunting actually is beneficial again ^^

Is there a way to remove the "haunt prevention" that's placed on the whole server by Ownership? People can't even haunt petals and flowers to turn them evil among other things.

If I can't remove that aspect of it, I'm gonna have to find another mod for my server, sorry.

@T-Rection, the Modify Ownership mod was written by Muche, not me. You'll have to ask him, but you should probably check your mod compatibility and mod setting first.

The mod doesnt seem to be working for me, i have it installed as well as the modify onwership mod and nothing happens when i press O, i have tried messing with the settings but nothing works and nothing happens.

@JesterOK, it's in your 'Drop container contents' setting --> 'No' to drop nothing. Also check your other mods to see if they override this mod.

1. Was wondering how to include ownership coding on a crafted chester, Ive referrenced the original code of the personal chester mod (it has ownership option). But ever since I modified that mod from "spawned in" to "craft" chester Im unable to prevent people from opening the crafted chester. This is the modified craft chester mod I just need guidance on what it should look like, as im fairly new to modding. Any help, advice,or tips is appreciated
2. Ive noticed other players can use lazy forager on someones dropped equipts, when sharing equipts config is off. I know its not a big issue considering new players would likely not have a lazy forager on the first few days. Just wanted to give you a heads up

I've scripted for other games and I'm confident I could learn how, but I have no previous experience modding for DST.

Do I only run this during one play session and then remove it afterward, or keep it on? My server is open to the public, and randoms join while I play. If someone should decide to base build, I don't want to prevent them from being able to own their own structures.

@LiketheShore&theSea, one way to claim ownership of everything already built is to write a mini-mod and put it in your own mod folder, OR directly insert commands into the modmain.lua of this mod script, in the OnLoad section after the first "if" statement:

data.ownerlist[1] = ownershiptag

where ********* is your user ID.

Could you please add a command that would grant me (the admin), ownership of all eligible structures in the world. Or maybe an ingame item that only the admin can spawn that would make private any structure in a certain radius around the player wearing/possessing that item?

That way i could just walk all my million and one walls and have them be converted without having to hover over each and every one and apply some command to it via console. Oh gawd, it makes me wanna kill myself now just thinking about it, lol. *sigh*

I've been considering using your mod in my current world, and would like to enable it now. I've already built quite a few structures and many walls... how do I enable the mod and have it adopt existing structures?

I'm the only builder thus far on the world, so an 'adopt all eligible structures' command would do the job.

On that note, do u have a list of possible admin commands that will work in console for this mod? Thx.
