Fits well with the L4D2 Desert rifle, and the M16A4 is burst fire

Can you make this mod to replace the M16A2?PLZ I really want this mod on M16:steamsad:

I know what you mean with an M16A0. The OG M16 that soldier's in vietnam hate'd. I just prefer calling the normal version an "M16". I do not mean anything bad, i just wanted to say that saying M16A0 just doesen't make sense. Also, since the M16 in L4D is automatic. It's an A3 model. In my opinion. This M16A4 model make's sense to be the Desert Rifle (Scar) because A4 model is burst.

you might take a look of this beautiful weapon along with the animation: https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1205262735&searchtext=M16A4

You know the m16a4 cant be fully automatic because its only a 3 round burst and if it were fully automatic,It has to be a m16a0,m16a1, or a m16a3.(This isn't a made up videogame logic, its an actual thing in reality.)

it's an m16a4, it's burst only

the m16 in game is fully automatic

for an m16a4, it's a waste of time if it were for m16

Is there an ACOG version of this? It would certainly complete the look.

I don't like the flashlight position, but this mod actually had me editing my beloved script files so that they no longer swap some assault rifle models.

Awesome.

im curious y the grip of the gun goes in between ur legs in thirdperson when u hold this...

Insurgency tactical mods (flashlight/laser sights) are mounted on the Right instead of the Left.

Yeah, just don't forget to credit me and/or add me as a contributer, though.

Before you do so though, you mind if I have a look at it? When transitioning the model's texture/material parameters (the VMTs), I had to adjust them ever so slightly to fit better into L4D2's lighting environment. Perhaps it sounds a bit like micromanaging, but I just want to make sure everything regarding the retexture is working properly before you upload it.
Fredipedia 22 nov 2015, ore 7:50
would it be ok when I upload a retextured version of this?
Raven 28 ago 2015, ore 14:23
My sole issue with this is that it's Extremely dark-textured.

@Dave S. - the forgrip looks great in first person and 'hides' when used in third so no hand clipping! Ace mod again tu stultus es's, yes not totally black. Bit on the shiny side but overall pretty good 8/10

Blah, not using foregrip.....
Zime 25 feb 2015, ore 3:39
good gun

I prefer the dark black version myself, as I already use a tan colored version of the actual m16.

I really hate the flashlight position. Apart from that, it's good. Good enough for me to hit the Subscribe button.

I'm more a fan of M16A2's, but this will do it too.
Kart0ffel. 24 feb 2015, ore 8:24
could u make one without the handle?
EXhacker 24 feb 2015, ore 5:05
HUGE!
EXhacker 24 feb 2015, ore 5:05
finally!
baddude1337 23 feb 2015, ore 14:50
I think I've leaned to the desert M16 too. As you said, it looks more distinctive, especially as my other current assault rifle mods are black.
Nebbers  [autore] 23 feb 2015, ore 14:47
I still prefer the custom tan textures myself because make the desert rifle look more distinctive and, of course, they look awesome.
baddude1337 23 feb 2015, ore 14:44
Damn, now I'm torn between this and the tan one!

Fantastic work as always, looking forward to other ports. :)
