Oh man, this is exactly what I've been looking for. I actually went on a rant over in discussions the other day about refining platinum. I was thinking it was a bug from how slow it was... I had one refinery for every ore (arc furnaces for the magnetics) and then four for platinum. Thousands of every ingot stockpiled and not a scrap of platinum around.. Building a single large thruster was going to take me like five hours game time for the ore to refine... So silly.

I believe there are other mods out there that actualy ballance the ore refining speeds for all ores. I'm actually fine with the slow speed of processing most other ores. Most other ores arn't used as much as platinum. I feel like trying to building enough refineries to process platnum is out of wack. I was about to build 20+ refineries for platinum, and then I realized how rediculous vinilla platinum refining is.

Have you any plans to make the same kind of change to any of the other ores that are also obscenely slow?
