I think this mod causes MEMORY LEAKS

It said ""new guard page for stack cannot be created" after I use this mod.

I have a personal massive love for mods like this, so i really look forward to a full stable release.

We need more mods that expand things to do, especially in space travel. the moment you get into space the game is basicly over. maybe build a base, maybe become rich, but content-wise, thats where the game ends.

killing either merchant or quest giver will crash game. and test quest would not turn in. had bot needing rescued standing by quest giver and nothing.

as soon as i speak to him it crashes se looks cool though i am sure one of the many other mods i am using is causing it as well.

Oh? Interesting.. that is supposed to be another quest I thought, but I may have been playing around with it and linked them for testing XD

I'll run another test and at least get a working version of the quest pushed out :)

@jTurp really? Cause once I escort them 250m away I get a new objective to escort them to a poin placed usually thousands of kilometers away from the NPC

You are just meant to escort the NPC (they will wander toward their destination) until they are far enough away to trigger mission success, which is ~250m from the hostile base. I do plan to add other quests where you have to *transport* the NPC, but that's yet to come!

Star Trek Mod 5.6, does not work with this mod, it causes game to crash at 91% loading, and sometimes 89% loading

Ok so I decided to run the rescue mission test, came to the wreck where the NPC to be rescued was, shoot the hostiles, brought the NPC aboard my ship and started moving towards the beacon. The problem is the NPC would not stay seated and try to open the airlock to leave the ship. At some point he left and was surrounded by hostiles. I left the ship on autopilot, tried to kill the enemy NPCs but ran out of ammo and died.

You are just meant to follow the damsel once they are freed. There will be other quests where you have to pick up / drop off / etc. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Just tried the test quest. Besides the hiccup someone else mentioned it went well. Only thing that I can say was challenging, maybe I don't understand how the Escort system works, but i couldn't really get the guy to follow me so instead kidnapped him in a box on my ship and flew him to the station and it worked. Awesome mod! Have been playing SE for years and a quest system is what this game needs. Thanks!

The hiccup is from asking MES to spawn in a grid. I'm not sure if that can be helped but I do plan to get with the MES folks to try and make it better :)

Great mod Jturp, this is what SE needed for a long time. Though i have a question, whenever i accept the quest the game froze like the game just stopped the simspeed and it took AWHILE until the game goes normal again.

@JTurp i have idea for a mod that goes with MES, have you considered making like a atm block where you can donate space credits to better increase your rep with said faction your donating to? this would make it easier to become friendly with certain factions

@ All here saying there is no quest based mods for the game. There is a mod set that does build around quests and retaking space from other npc's. It is made by BookBurner. Its called NPC Provider. It also has npc packs and a couple scenario's that work with it. Go check it out. Im really looking forward to this JTurp, we need more npc stuff in the game.

As it is now it will add any valid component to the pool to be drawn from. This may change before full release. Likely in the form of a config file for folks to edit as they like

why do you think they won't make your mod to vanilla' why they hate human npcs? this game isn't just a building game. we have kitchen, beds toilets, datapad, npcs are the next step of course. Why hasn't keen ever considered this idea? NPCS, YOU MADE IT AND IT S A BRILLIANT MOD, BUT WHY IT ISN'T IN VANILLA?
