For me, it moves the zoom out button to the left bar, like in the first screenshot, but then the button disappears if you zoom to a specific planet a second time.

There is one problem though. It is worth expanding the navigation window vertically, as some orbits end up outside the window.

most likely a conflict with another mod that is also changing the starmap, check your mods for another one that is also changing the starmap and try removing it
