Good News for the Rafah Lovers, the files have been transferred to another guy who wants to continue and finish the map, I will update here and on Discord about updates or completion of his work 😄

I am not continuing to work on this map, I worked on the map when I was under a group and it is currently closed and I don't have a reason to continue working on it, as of now I am continuing to work on a renewed map, much more beautiful, organized and with many details that fits the features of Gaza, currently working on "Gaza, Deir al-Balah", stay tuned.

I wanted a map of Syria

@andresito the yellow ribbon has a long history going back to 1979 as a symbol of remembering hostages. It was used in the US when Iran held American hostages at the US Embassy in Tehran for 444 days. It comes from the 1973 song "Tie a Yellow Ribbon Around the Old Oak Tree" by Tony Orlando and Dawn about a man released from prison hoping his girlfriend will welcome him back. The origin of the idea of a yellow ribbon as remembrance may have been the 19th-century practice that some women had of wearing a yellow ribbon in their hair to signify their devotion to a husband or sweetheart serving in the U.S. Cavalry. The song "'Round Her Neck She Wears a Yeller Ribbon", tracing back centuries but copyrighted by George A. Norton in 1917, and later inspiring the John Wayne movie "She Wore a Yellow Ribbon," is a reference to this.

The symbol of remembrance of cancer victims is just the latest use of the yellow ribbon.

Also it would be amazing if the map clutter is on the same level as Sa'hatra.

@Filistin I think he said in the desc that he was experimenting because he learned new tools and optimisations with whatever he's working with.

half made maps not it learn from the ones who made the newer middle east maps good idea but not it ...

Politics aside, the map is very bare-bones and lacks detail to make it playable - at this point it's just a few scattered buildings and ruins. Needs a whole lotta polish before it;s anywhere near playable, IMHO. I would even dare suggest that you should've focused on the Lebanon map you've posted earlier and bring it to a decent state instead of diverting efforts onto this equally bare-bones terrain.
