THanks, yh I've had to cut through ALOT. Still don't know how I'll rework special projects might just rewrite the new bombs to work in the old way ;D. Public or not I like to ask anyway as a courtesy to your hardwork.
Pr0fessor  [author] 14 Jun @ 2:35pm
@Choc, sure, do it. Its public available information. Take what you need and give me a mention and let me know when your mod is done.

Paradox keeps breaking so much every update that I am kinda getting tired of all the repititive repeating mod updating labor :/

Good lucK!

Hi, Pr0essor. I'm working an overhaul that's near to release. Could I use parts of your work in my collective? I'm too a big fan of good research and big numbers. For example Increased guns to 550 and decreased manpower to 750 and cheapened the basic 1918 weapon to 0.25 based on extensive research. Would be a pleasure to include your mod in some form of possible?
Pr0fessor  [author] 15 Mar @ 6:10pm
Every DLC paradox realese recently breaks files by renaming everything.
I am kinda getting bored out by continously having to spend hours getting this mod back to work again.
Maybe I will update this mod once I have some more spare time and interest.

Mod is once again broken
Pr0fessor  [author] 15 Nov, 2024 @ 12:06pm
No. Working on it right now.
As is tradition Paradox has to break everything. ;) (They added new states so there are many files to edit and check.)
InnocentRain 15 Nov, 2024 @ 10:17am
is this still compatible with the newest patch?
Pr0fessor  [author] 21 Jul, 2024 @ 5:26pm
@Vulpes
Do not be bothered that the launcher says this mod is for a different version. It should still be compatible. Everytime paradox does some minor updates or hotfixes they change the version number of the game and as a mod maker you have to manually reupload your mod to change the version number, which is just a cosmetic thing.

I cant be bothered to spend a couple of hours each time to reupload this mod just for a cosmetic version match check mark everytime paradox does a minor tweak or version change.

Have fun!

..♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ this mod looks amazing! And I was about to stop browsing and start a game too... Great job with the detail!
Nash 4 Jul, 2024 @ 1:56am
@Pr0fessor,

No rush, I still suck at navy! :D
Pr0fessor  [author] 30 Jun, 2024 @ 2:51pm
@Nash,

That is indeed weird. This map does not change anything AI related. My first assumption would be that this is caused by the Expert AI. However, I will update this mod for the next version asap. If I am not mistaken there were no any big changes, but you never know.
Nash 30 Jun, 2024 @ 3:45am
When I use this mod with Expert AI Germany does not have any ships in production.

Might I suggest exploring state type modding as well. One of the thing I have tinkered with is adding modifiers to islands to make building slower and particularly small islands being slower to build, particularly airbases. Airbases on pacific island were a major strategic advantage because building one took time.
Pr0fessor  [author] 26 Apr, 2024 @ 2:23pm
@Aigle, that is why I made airfields cheaper so you can construct more faster. I have yet to look into changing airfields capacity. I am not sure at the moment if or how such a change will influence the AI. I have a list of new updates and tweakers, once there is a decent amount I will update the mod. Thanks for playing my mod, I hope you have a good time.
Aigle2 22 Apr, 2024 @ 5:45pm
Very nice mod. But airbases sizes must be increased to fit the new airplanes numbers to be usable
Pr0fessor  [author] 9 Apr, 2024 @ 1:39pm
@Amine, I need to look up the exact numbers. The biggest changes are in infantry weapons and support equipment. The goal was to roughly simulate 10% of actual historic production. There is a comment I made in the discussion forum maybe this helps to explain the reasoning some more. When I have the time I will add a image with the value changes.

(Another Post I Made);
Just something to ponder, the game can be tweaked so you can produce 1 to 1 from history. For example it is possible to make 119k airplanes as Germany (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_War_II_aircraft_production) , however then you run in to the problem of HoI4 not having that many possible airfields to build and accommodate that many aircraft in the game. Its always a trade of when trying to go "real" in this clausewitz engine and the HoI4 framework.

(Also good luck managing 1000 individual airwings, thats a massive amount of "clicking" and micro management.)

I tried to make it as real as possible.

Hello @Pr0fessor ! If you were to estimate it, how much cheaper and more avalaible have you made the production of war materials like planes, tanks and others in compariso to base game hoi4 ? I love this mod by the way, big up to you
Pr0fessor  [author] 7 Apr, 2024 @ 5:34pm
Expert AI requires some DLC though, check its modpage.
Pr0fessor  [author] 7 Apr, 2024 @ 5:32pm
@Vestralus, thank you. AAT is not required. In regards to Expert AI just do normal or historical in the first window that shows up when you start a game. In the advanced tab there is Favor China/Japan and Favor Russia/Germany, the default is great if you are curious just hover and read the description and change according to your preference.
Vest 7 Apr, 2024 @ 4:51pm
Incredible mod and so far no real issues. I'm just wondering what Expert AI settings/config you'd recommend to use with this mod. Also, is the AAT DLC required? Thanks!
Pr0fessor  [author] 7 Apr, 2024 @ 11:51am
@Konuia, I will do that. Its going to take a couple of weeks though.
konuia 6 Apr, 2024 @ 6:11pm
cool mod, may i suggest creating a separate version that exclude the changing of province resources and shared buildings (the accurate industry) maybe it would make it compatible with alot of mods? the production and political revamps are really cool
Pr0fessor  [author] 6 Apr, 2024 @ 7:42am
Civilian/Industrial Factory cost in base game: 10800
Civilian/Industrial Factory cost in the mod: 11975
Military Factory cost in base game: 7200
Military Factory cost in the mod: 12950

@xygxyz civilian factory only has a small diference, its actually slower for both civ and mil.
what can i say 6 Apr, 2024 @ 1:10am
In the game, civilian factories are built much faster than in the original, which can lead to balance issues?
Pr0fessor  [author] 5 Apr, 2024 @ 6:10am
This mod is updated.
Paradox decided to add text in the version number for this free weekend update for some reason causing problems with the workshop mod updating.
Have a great weekend!

nice mod
55zanaris99 2 Apr, 2024 @ 6:50pm
interesting mod
Amine Alkaline 30 Mar, 2024 @ 8:21pm
Superb mod ! Looking forward to play it !
Pr0fessor  [author] 30 Mar, 2024 @ 6:02pm
Have fun, let me know if you have any comments.

Friendly note; due to the mathematics involved there is a threshold before 1 of any resource is placed on the map. So before you say “My region produced some of X resource in 1939 why is it not in the map?” Answer: Minimum Resource Threshold

I am also planning a separate release of resource only. (Could be a couple of weeks before its done).
