I'll fix the M16, Mk18 and add carry handle to M4A1
1. M16 and MK.18 didn't have carry handles before the nightfall update.
2. The handle for M4 is bugged due to the position of the original model.
NWI will fix it on its own.
Once you've installed it, here is the process:
1. When you open the .vpk, click on the left on the "root"-folder and drag it outside (maybe to your desktop or something)
2. You now have a folder called "root" on your desktop, rename it to something else, we'll call it "Carrier"
3. Go into "Carrier\models\weapons\upgrades\"
4. delete the following files: "a_standard_mk18.dx90.vtx", "a_standard_mk18.mdl", "a_standard_mk18.vvd", "w_flipup2.dx90.vtx", "w_flipup2.mdl" and "w_flipup2.vvd"
(Steps 5 & 6 are optional)
5. Go into "Carrier\materials\models\weapons\"
6. delete "carryhandle.vmt" & "carryhandle.vtf"
7. Go to your steam folder
8. Get to "steamapps\common\insurgency2\bin\"
9. Take folder "Carrier" and drag it onto the file VPK.Exe
10. You're done
Put that into the folder "custom" and don't forget to delete my "carry_handle_1.2.vpk"
Not possible because that would require a whole new set of animations.
The animations dictate the height of the model and to make your suggestion possible, it would require to lower to gun in order to look through the mounted optic.
Apparently not.

My mod does nothing with the UMP.
It's simply broken due to the latest patch that changed the animations script.
Brightside works on it to fix it.

Propably because it's such an iconic feature of the M16, i mean that's how i feel about.
An M16 without its carry handle is like a Kalashnikov without its gas-system barrel.
Not being able to read in the first place and asking dumbass questions simply gets you no sympathy points in my books. I am against the support of lazyness or plain stupidity.
