I accidentally set fire to my ocuvigil, and that made my server crash somehow. Not sure why

Crashed with this mod, and beforehand, was causing extreme lag at my base. Pls fix, I love this mod. :(

Causes extreme perma lagg on any player entering.
Trial and errored all my mods and found disabling this stopped it.

@aeyo(s) honestly, an interesting theory, but I prefer to do interesting things and that's why I decided to make different effects for different lenses because red, yellow, green, blue lenses are not used in crafting :SadOtus:

It's interesting, but the gems are not technically aligned with the shadows or the moon, so the purple and green don't exactly make sense. I guess going by the lore, only the purple thematically has the power of sight, since bishops have laser vision, ocuvigils allow tele-sight, and purple amulets give vision of the nightmare plane. If the purple gem was shadow aligned, then the moonlens would not even accept the purple gem per lore.

@Droider There's situations where you might not want to gain sanity, like on the Lunar Island or keeping Bernie active as Willow, I don't know! The point is to be creative with it :)

@Wafflecito Ocuvigils get fatigued after being left on for too long and need time to recharge! But you can disable this in the configuration settings if you don't like it

hi, i have a question, i am playing on a server with my boyfriend, and we don't really know alot about ocuvigils, but we try the orange one for planting, at first it was perfectly working, but then it sudenly stopped, like, its gem isnt on the middle anymore,and its not shiny, we though it was the new floor we put and we change it to the normal grass floor, and it still doesnt work, so i was asking if its a mod issue, or is it something we did cause we dont know how it works, thank you.

It lowers the world temperature by 25/15/5, so let's say a consistent 25 if you're using the Shining variant. In the middle of summer (at its worst) temperature usually doesn't go above 100, maybe 105. Wildfires can only happen if the world temperature is 80 or above. So in theory yes, but I never tested it and I fear the thresholds might be too close for comfort. In that case, we might consider increasing the values a tiny bit, so that it can comfortably prevent wildfires.

I like and appreciate your work, and I think that this is a cool concept. I just want to figure out the design behind it. Like, when I first saw the shining yellow gem's effect, I instantly thought about the sisturn, wondering if it would make it obsolete once one acquires a yellow gem. Or the red gem's effect, which is like a furnace without the cooking feature. Albeit, I'm currently trying it out, so I may figure it out myself and then think that it was obvious all along.

Maxi, I didn't quite understand the comment, I think the mod is quite balanced, Ocuvigil has a lot of effects, but it gets tired quickly [it has a fatigue system you can change in configurations at will] and improved versions are expensive requiring ingredients from the Rifts. If you want, you can turn off the effects altogether and use it like the classic Ocuvigil, but only with different lenses. I tried to make the mod flexible so that everyone likes it.

I haven't tried out this mod yet, but I have concerns about how balanced it is? The concept sounds cool (I particularly like the orange and green one), but some of it isn't just a straight up buff to the vanilla ocuvigil without any maintenance cost?

Yes Almost mb for bad english the Bug im reporting is , When Woodie Wants to Craft Boards with Lucy Near The Green gemed Ocuvigils There is no Crafting Speed For him Its Fine with Normal Boards but its not working With Lucy (The Crafting is 3Logs-->1Board)
