Note: This has some sort of block ID problem when old blueprints or games are loaded after the Warfare 2 update. The workaround is to unload the mod, run the world with the new updates and save, reinstall mod and run world, Connectors will now load with a new block ID and can be placed back where they have gone missing, Do this for blueprints as well.

@FreddyKrug 04/2019 and it's still only mod with small grid 1x1x1 connectors, missing auto-lock function yet crucial in many designs, such a shame it's abandoned. Still no chances for update? Has somebody taken care of it?

Last time i checked it worked but models look outdated. would be grade if someone updated them. mod files are downloaded once subscribed and played at least one game with this mod. directory should be [...]\Steam\SteamApps\workshop\content\244850\304787878. if there's only a bin file there you can unzip it with an WinZip or something.

I really don't mind to have someone update it but I lost the source files so he would need to redo most of it from scratch. And this mod has always been kind of hack so I dunno where it stands right now. But anyone willing to take over is welcome. I'll provide whatever help or files I can find.

No.. I don't plan to support those in the long term. I'll do my best for simple fix but I can't garantee.

The large connector is bugged. It does not connect to the small conveyors

P.S. Their is a Bug of which if you connect and lock the small and large connectors of this Mod togetheir and move either one of them; Will fly out into Space but Hysterically can Still can Transfer Items Back & Forward reguardless of Distances between Them! XD :steamsalty:

Hey, do you think you might be able to work with Ravenbolt to make a version of your small connector compatible with his conveyor system, with the appropriate arrow textures on the back?

This would allow to fighters and what not to resupply rockets via small connectors without jamming.

@Blacksheep - Are both connectors owned or accessible by you (i.e. not 'Nobody' or someone else's who is in another faction/no share)? And powered?

I cannot connect a small ship small connector to a large ship small connector, they look as if they should connect but they don't. Am I being an idiot or is something broken?

Is this mod broken at some parts? after the last update the Auxiliary Connector will no longer lock, the buttons also are blocked and i think there is no Oxygen support atm?

Found a bug with these .... If the two of these connectors are on the same grid and facing each other, even when they are turned off, they act like conveyor tubes and stuff can flow freely. This doesn't happen with the stock vanilla connectors. See picture:

FreddyKrug, maybe this is stuff for a different mod, but could you please do a (preferably self-powered) wafer-thin version of your connectors?

If you could shorten your small ejector, giving it side attachment points and a flush plain rear (if no actual ), and connect it to a very thin large connector ring, you'd be the hero of all who have long wished for the small/large union with just enough clearance to avoid the collision boxes!

@CaddoPuma If you connect them and toggle lock (make sure they are green) then going into cargo or terminal window control panel inventory you can transfer your items to the other ship. You have to set the other ship to collect all and the main connector to throw out for you to properly transfer through the conveyor system and the opposite to transfer materials back into the main ship. I've built a 2 small ship setup this way with my cargo and reactor as a body with turrets and front faced weapons, then I connected a smaller fighter ship with battery powered attached to a merge block that merges with the cargo ship at the same level as the connectors and the connectors are attached to conveyers that are attached to small cargo thats attached to 2 gatling guns on the smaller ship.

Some people just aren't cut out to be engineers anyway. They make good pilots sometimes though! The rest can work in security/tactical. Or janitorial. Ships always need cleaning! Everything else we probably automate.

Once a large enough player base reaches critical mass, most of the players that have gone dormant will come back to check out the new content everyone's making. We just have to make cool enough stuff to draw everyone in.

Make one with your landing gear! Just needs to be strong enough to bolt a small thing on sturdily enough to withstand hi-speed turns but aligned rigidly enough that if it's wedged up real tight on the large blocks (e.g. with blast doors) that it won't cause damage.

Hm, for me the new connector will not be displayed and their function are somehow not taken ?! Is this mod no longer up to date?
I think the design really cool. The connection options I find really fantastic.

The thing is .. untill there are more goals into this game .. building stuff tu build stuff can get boring on the long run. When more there is more content and multiplayer is more stable I guess people will come back or be more active. ;)

What size loads can these blocks convey? Does it matter how they're hooked up?

I can confirm there is a crash happening when using the Lock button from the K menu when docking a small ship to station/large ship. The crash is not related to the mod but the core Connector mechanic. You can still use SWITCH LOCK from a toolbar shortcut with no issue. This will have to be fixed by Keen since it's not related to the mod.

Basically I wish there was a block that attached to connectors, but only "pushed" Items across the connection. So you have a grinding ship that docks to your main base and all the parts are "pushed" from the ships inventory to the bases. I understand the not changing the blocks function, but could a new block be created to do this?

@Ted I'm still not deep into modding but what I can tell for now is we can't do that much beside tweaking and playing around a bit within the confines of a single block type. We cannot mix different block functionalities into a single one. But your Idea is great and I hope Keen make rotors support conveyors

Another question.
Would it be possible to make a ROTOR that was like a PISTON
in the since that it was Conveyor linked on top and bottom, and the
Large roto had 4 small side Conveyor Links like the original old
Connector, and or the Small rotor had 4-Conveyor Links like a
Small Conveyor, but was still a Small Rotor.........?
