everytime i try to do anything that isnt explained like it is being told to a 1st grader with sfm i have no clue what its saying.
im no use to do it myself.

@luigidagod91021 look at how the script associated with these models work; it should be quite easy to amend to make it work in a rectangular fashion, I think. You can add me and I can try to help you, although be aware that is has been years since I last touched these SFM scripts ^^'

hey can someone please make a model that uses this kind of thing where its like a working mirror but what one mirror shows is what the other sees but its a rectangle shape? simply being able to put the mirror on something like a screen to show anything on it whould assist in not having me test how hard i need to swing my head to break either my desk or my skull.

little tip for peeps who don't like the simple look of the model,
The Portal DLC content pack contains animated portal rings. Just put those over the rings on the model and it'll look fine. c:

Don't forget to add "-monitortexturesize 4096" to the Source Filmmaker launch parameters to get a good image resolution inside the portals !

This Portal use Render Target Cameras, sadly enough, you can only use one per shot in sfm. The image with both portals and the turret was done using the second skin of the rt_portal, wich loads a custom image, thus allowing to recreate a static second portal through poster rendering and loading (useful to render a poster with portals actually) ... Or you can use the green screen skin, and use After Effects. That's the only solution I've found for using two portals in the same image. Of course, you can use changing angle shots to make it look like there are two portals when there is only one.

I can only spawn one portal, I try to put the rig to a second portal but nothing happens.
